I took a deep breath in and out and climbed on top of the railing and looked down into the streets of Tenguu city. My breathing got more and more rapid. I started doubting myself as the sounds of the bustling city got drowned out until all I could hear was silence.
Y/n: If I fail I die. I fall to my death right here.
Still standing on the railing I turned away from the edge.
???: You've come too far to turn back now.
Y/n: Who are you! Why are you in my head!?
The only response I got was the wind.
Y/n: Damn voices.. But Whoever that was, they were right. I've got to do this.
I released all worry and fell backwards into the city. The roof got smaller and smaller as time went on.
Y/n: MOTOR SAN! COME OUT!
Third person's view.
Y/n was plummeting towards the ground at an alarming rate. He tried calling out to his angel but he wouldn't come. During his free fall he flipped over so he could see the approaching ground. Sweat flying off his face while he plunged to the ground.
Y/n: ^Is this where I die? Was I only meant to come this far?^
Y/n could see the people and the cars clearly, he was only about thirty metres away from the ground.
Y/n: ^Damnit.^
He closed his eyes waiting for his pending death and opened them for what he thought was the last time. It was then he saw Mai with a horrified look on her face.

As Y/n fell his face aligned with Mai's. Time going almost came to a halt for the both of them, the two looked each other in the eyes. It was at that moment he stopped. He was floating in the air. Face to face with Mai just upside down.
Motor san: You called?
Y/n: Mai...
Mai: Y/n..
Y/n flipped himself over and landed on the ground but instantly dropped to one knee his legs had lost some feeling in them.
