Chapter 1 - Trunks Arrives

Do you believe in redemption?

The ability to 'redeem' yourself for whatever act you committed. Obviously, it depends on what you've actually done, whilst of course some more... treacherous acts may not be eligible for this kind of act. Like, for say, mass genocide.

Or can it?

There are a great many cases in where someone has been able to redeem themselves even though they've committed a great many mass atrocities. One familiar face that would come to mind would be Vegeta. Someone who had committed a grand amount of mass genocide on countless worlds without discrimination. All for nothing as he was betrayed in the end, giving up his fragile pride as he died for the first time.

He returned eventually and, in time, found his way into redeeming himself for all of his past sins.

How, you may ask? It's simple.

It depends on who's encouraging this redemption.

Speaking of, there was one being in complete support of redemption. In an unlikely place, too: Hell itself. Charlie Morningstar, the Princess of Hell and daughter of Lucifer and Lilith Morningstar, was fascinated by the idea of humans.

She even went ahead and created a hotel meant to redeem sinners and attempt to bring them into the right side of life... or death, actually. Along with her girlfriend Vagatha, a moth demon who is colloquially known as Vaggie to close friends, Angel Dust, a spider-demon porn star and their first guest, Alastor, the infamous Radio Demon and Overlord of a section of Hell, Niffty, the ever so ecstatic to clean freak, and Husk... the drunkard.

Charlie accumulated next to no support from either of her parents, with them scoffing at the even idea that sinners could ever gain redemption. It was unheard of in Hell. And, yet, Charlie didn't care.

Regardless, who knows what could happen in Hell? Something different would certainly spice things up. And, unbeknownst to them for now, a very disoriented and lost being will soon be arriving in Hell to change the entire balance...

"RUN FOR YOUR FUCKING LIVES! GET THE HELL OUTTA HERE!"

The entire city was nigh on destroyed.

Chaos was rampant. The streets were ablaze, demon-looking people being hit by the explosions, gun shots were running through the alleyways, ricocheting off metal platforms and injuring even more people, and, worst of all, he was there. Donning that mask.

Black.

A blue haired man frustratingly stood up after being knocked down for what seemed like the tenth time as he lunged at Black, only to be instantly swatted away with seemingly no effort being utilised. Energy filled his body, electrocuting him.

The man shrugged this off wearily. He cannot let any more carnage occur here from the wrath of Black. Too many people have died at this point for him to give up at this point. All of his friends he has made up until this point... misted. He could only worry for the safety of his fian-

A right hook to the jaw disrupted the man's thoughts as he was nigh on defeated. But he couldn't stop here. Not now. He has too much to protect. He wiped his mouth, drawing blood. Looking at it momentarily, he yet out a loud war cry, sparking his energy higher than anything he's done before.
