Chapter 5 - Testing

With Trunks

Trunks finally finished explaining who he was and how he got there, while he was eating, to our main cast. It was a lengthy story, though it wasn't as in depth as the one he told Charlie. Regardless, it still took a while. He got a multitude of reactions, such as...

Husk, funnily enough, was actually interested, his ears being perked up for the most part listening. Vaggie kind of knew what to expect, but was still surprised nonetheless. Alastor didn't care much, but he was intrigued by some of the parts that he didn't know of. Angel Dust paid attention, but he was more interested in something else.

"Man, that's cool and all, but when can I see your di- hey!" Angel Dust began to say but was cut off by a punch from Vaggie. "Fine, whatever. I'm over it."

"Well, I can't say I'm not surprised, because I'm not," Alastor said, indifferent. "I do want to test you, though."

"Wait, seriously? When?" Trunks responded, obviously nervous.

As Trunks hasn't gotten a complete grasp on Alastor's true strength, he didn't know how well he'd do against him. Maybe he's stronger... maybe he's weaker. There was no way to tell due to the inconsistent Ki signatures in this Hell.

"Yes, my boy! Besides, it'll give me the opportunity to grasp you know what," Alastor alludes.

"Colour me surprised. Alastor seems interested in ya," Husk teased, downing another drink. "You should take it."

"W-well, sure. I'm just about done eating anyways," Trunks said, walking to the kitchen and placing his plate in the sink. "When can we start, Alastor?"

"Right now! I know just the place," Alastor eerily replied. "Follow me."

------------------T/S------------------

As Trunks said his 'cya laters' and goodbyes to the main cast, he followed Alastor to a field not too far away from the Hotel, but far enough for it to be out of view. No other demons were in sight, so they could practice normally... right?

Well, not quite.

Suddenly, a massive ship overshadows on the horizon, slowly but surely reaching where Trunks and Alastor were.

"What the hell is that?" Trunks turned to Alastor and asked. "Why are there so many... Ki signatures in there...?"

"I might've asked a... 'friend' to help us in our sparring session," Alastor simply responded, still smiling.

"Huh? How did you know I'd accept your, uhm, your training thing?" Trunks inquired scratching his head.

"Call it a hunch, my boy," Alastor replied, watching the construct approach. "Here he comes!"

"For fucks sake..."

The airship-like construct dawned over the horizon and approached. It was a fine build; the airship looked like a blimp but fitted out with 4 machine guns, one on each end. It had a fin on top of it right next to a little radio tower. It was a grandiose construct.
