Chapter Two

Its been 40 years since everything went down in Russia, and I think about Soldier Boy everyday, im pretty sure they found a way to kill him. My heart aches at the thought but my focus is on Crimson and gunpowder. Mallory and I have worked really hard with my power, trying to control it so when I touch someone they don't just collapse and die on me. Working with my power, I have been given a lovely gift, I have a white streak in my hair with all the stress of learning how to use it. I also discovered my slow aging due to the V, I don't look any different than I did before all this happened.

I have even met some of the people that work for her, even though they have tried to convince me they don't. There's Billy Butcher, hes the rough and hard ass type which I get considering his wife was killed by a supe, then theres Marvin, hes more of the mediator in the group such a sweet guy, theres Frenchie, im still learning to understand him but he seems nice enough. He is more or less the assassin of the group, he likes the dirty jobs. Theres Kimiko, they recently found her locked away like trash when Frenchie saved her. She, like me, got pumped  full of the V and her power is self healing, which is really cool. And finally, theres Hughie, poor guy, like Butcher, he had a bad run in with a supe and his girlfriend was killed, but hes sweet as can be with me, I don't know how he got brought into all this. Butcher is very distant with me and I completely understand. But he does cut me some slack, not much, but a little, every once in a while. Kimiko and I are sitting down as she is trying to teach me her sign language so I can communicate and understand her as the boys are out on a job. Mallory comes in

"So, I have been informed that there is a weapon to kill supes" she says as Kimiko and I look at her.

"What do you mean?" I say

"Not you two of course, but the seven, the ones who need to be taken down a peg or six" she says as she sits down

"I found out from a colleague of mine in Russia" she says as the door opens and the boys are back. She gets up

"Butcher, come with me" she says as she walks into a different room with him following. Hughie comes over

"Hows the sign language coming along?" he asks as I smile at him

"its good, slow, but good" as I smile along with Kimiko. Frenchie comes over and sits next to her and puts his arm around her as she lays her head on him.

"What do you think the weapon could be?" I ask as I try to sign the best I can

"What weapon?" Marvin asks coming into the room

"Mallory said she found a weapon to kill supes" I say a little uneasy. Then Butcher and Mallory come back into the room

"Well boys, what say we take a little field trip, eh?" Butcher asks with a smile. They all stand up and I along with them when Mallory stops me

"I want you to stay here, I might have a lead on Crimson and Gunpowder" she says and I see red and nod. They all head out and Mallory and I sit by the computer as she pulls up a map

"So, I found out that they are both at Vought theme park" she says pointing to a spot on the map

"Really?" I ask as i look at her

"Yea, I know" she says, we sit down and she gives me the address and everything I will need to know before getting there. Gunpowder is first on my list. I get to the theme park and start walking around looking at all the stupid supe rides and all the shit they have. Im wearing black leggings, boots, and a black hoodie to hide my face as I walk into his tent. Hes going on about some bullshit with guns or what not as I see he has aged a little. When his demonstration is over, I quietly follow him out to his car. He stops right before he gets in and realizes there is someone following him. He turns around
