(young) Sendak x Reader {Temporarily On Hold}

A dark and stormy night

When the eighth season of Voltron Legendary Defender aired on Netflix (Y/n) was bound and determined to binge watch it, making sure that she had her favorite snack nearby in case she got hungry. There was a thunderstorm rumbling outside, but it didn't bother her in the slightest due to it being outside. She had mixed feelings about each episode and how the characters interacted with one another; seeing the original Paladins was a little heartbreaking after seeing how long their spirits were kept hostage in Honerva's mind. (Y/n) was watching the twelfth episode and when she saw a younger version of Sendak her heart nearly exploded; he was just so cute.

"Awww! He's so cute!" (Y/n) squealed loudly after she paused the episode when the younger version of Sendak was on the screen, examining his details.

Not only was the younger version of Sendak cuter, but he was also a lot nicer and humble. (Y/n) couldn't stop herself from getting a crush on him and she desperately wished that he was real. She was very lonely since no one ever wanted to date her, but watching different shows with attractive characters helped her feel less lonely. When a loud clap of thunder shook her house/apartment, she became more aware of the storm outside.

"Geez, what a storm." (Y/n) said to herself as more thunder rumbled in the sky above her house/apartment, the loud sounds echoing outside.

The storm outside was a big one, but something else was going on that didn't have an explanation. Right as (Y/n) pushed play on the video player a huge bolt of lightning hit her home, causing the whole building to shake and rattle. A second bolt of lightning hit the building again, causing something to fall and hit (Y/n's) head. Her whole world went dark as she fell unconscious, not knowing what was going to happen; little did she know was that she was transported somewhere that she never thought was possible to go. It was in that moment where one seemingly impossible event changed (Y/n's) life for forever, a change in which she would enjoy.
