(young) Sendak x Reader {Temporarily On Hold}

I shouldn't have drank that

(Y/n) wasn't entirely sure how long she'd been living on Daibazaal after she somehow mysteriously appeared on the odd shaped planet, but her life was so much better than it had been on Earth and she even had a boyfriend. She had her daily duties and could take time off if she wasn't feeling well, and the best part was that she'd been given a free place to live and she didn't have to worry about not having enough money for food, and she even got paid for everything she did. Sendak was the sweetest boyfriend anyone could ever ask for and even though they occasionally had the rare conflict or argument they always worked through it and apologized to each other. Sometimes (Y/n) missed her favorite foods from Earth and adjusting to eating new things had taken a while, luckily she eventually got used to a new diet and she even had new favorite snacks. There was one thing in particular that galra and humans had in common, but it never really came up in any conversations because for whatever reason (Y/n) never mentioned it, and that something was alcoholic drinks; there was one in particular Zarkon was fond of, but he kept it hidden in a high cupboard since he didn't want Lotor to accidentally find it.

One evening in particular after (Y/n) finished putting the dishes and silverware away she decided to have a look in some of the cupboards she'd never explored before to see what interesting kinds of food she could find. There were various spices, canned foods and even new snacks she'd never seen before, but then she eventually found a strange light purple glass bottle with some kind of drink inside of it. Of course, she had to use an adjustable step-ladder to reach the cupboard, nevertheless the drink looked interesting and she thought it was some kind of soft drink that didn't need to be refrigerated. (Y/n) grabbed the bottle and carefully climbed down to the floor, promptly unscrewing the lid prior to taking a sniff of the mysterious drink. It smelled thick and fruity, yet it had a slightly bitter scent to it as well; the young woman threw caution to the wind and had a little taste, deciding that it was good since it hadn't killed her.

“Hm, not bad. I wonder why it was hidden so far up there, though.” (Y/n) muttered to herself while holding the bottle, drinking just a little bit more since she liked how it tasted.

It never occurred to her that she drank the galra equivalent of wine, and she took a few more sips before she began to feel a bit tipsy. When (Y/n) began feeling strange she wobbled over to the counter and barely had enough balance to put the bottle and its lid up on the flat surface, then she had to lean against the nearest solid object to prevent herself from tripping over her own feet. She felt a mental fog come over her, but at the same time she felt giggly and it only took a few minutes to become completely drunk. The galra equivalent of wine had a stronger effect on people who weren't galra, although (Y/n) wasn't completely aware that she'd gotten herself drunk. During her little mishap Sendak had been looking everywhere for his girlfriend since he'd just finished a video call with his parents and he wanted to see her; however, when he found (Y/n) leaning against a cupboard he rushed over to her, then he saw the bottle of Zarkon's favorite wine on the counter.

“(Y/n), tell me you didn't-” Sendak pleaded when he knelt down next to his very drunk girlfriend, immediately smelling the scent of the wine on her breath.

“Ohhh, heeeyyy, Shendak! I miiisssed yooouuu. Hey, now that we're alone we can do something kinda spicy~” (Y/n) slurred as she greeted Sendak; with the liquid courage she was brave enough to suggest they get down and dirty, although if she'd been in her right state of mind then she would have been too embarrassed to try such a thing.

“You did.” Sendak sighed with exasperation, knowing that he would need to take care of her until she was sober again.

“I did a lot of things today and I feel realllly happy.” (Y/n) responded with a silly smile, expressing exactly how happy she felt.

“You're drunk right now and I don't want to do anything we'll both regret.” Sendak replied gently; he was definitely sexually attracted to (Y/n), but he didn't want their first time together to happen while she was drunk.
