chapter two

The night was really bad, I slept rather restlessly and had quite a backache.
The next morning I was awakened quite early by my nausea and could almost continue to sleep in the bathroom, because I couldn't separate myself from the toilet bowl.
Minna stood behind me at some point and stroked my back.
When it got better, I lay myself back in bed and Minna told me to close my eyes again, she would go out with Rilla.
I thanked her and snuggled back into the blanket.
I was feeling pretty bad.
The next time I woke up, the door to the my bedroom opened a little bit and Rilla looked at me.
I smiled at her and said in a calm tone that she could come to me.
So she jumped on the bed and lay on top of me again.
I took the opportunity and made a picture of us.
But so that you couldn't see how bad I really was.
I send it to Aleksi and write: "We both miss you and looking forward to finally seeing you again tomorrow!"
Then Minna stuck her head through the door and said quietly that she had made breakfast.
So we got up and went to the breakfast table.
She had made tea, fresh orange juice, some scrambled eggs and toast were also on the table.
I was amazed and just about to start, when I had to run back into the bathroom.
When I had calmed down again, I could finally eat something.
Immediately after that I lay down again on the sofa and rested.
At noon we went out for a little walk and then straight back to the sofa.
Minna was briefly at home to take care of her cat Rommi and in the evening she came by again.
As I was hanging over the toilet bowl again a few times, she pressed a small package into my hand.
I looked at it more closely and then looked at Minna questioningly when I read "pregnancy test".
She sat down next to me and said cautiously, "Maybe we should try it out... it's really weird right now..."
I opened my eyes... what if I was positive?
I was actually a little overdue with my period and the symptoms were really weird.
Minna told me not to think too hard about it and just do it.
I took a deep breath and then disappeared into the bathroom..
