JUNIE and Din's boots squelched in the mud below them as they walked, Din in front, the child following behind, and Junie beside it.

It cooed and looked around at the little lizards that skittered around them, reaching for one but accidentally flopping backwards, making Junie laugh.

The child babbled and sat up again, staring at Junie and tilting his tiny head to the side. Din glanced back at the two, about to say something when all of sudden, the lizards scurried away from them.

An uneasy air filled the space, and Junie stared at Din, a silent agreement being made between the two.

His hand settled on his blaster, and she stepped in front of the child just as two Trandoshans fell from the side of the caved walls.

One started fighting Din, while the other ran for Junie, who yanked her blaster out and shot him in the head. She bumped the hovering pram to the side with her hip just as another man leapt on top of her.

Din tugged his rifle off his back, using it to defend himself. He kicked a man to the ground and then electrocuted another.

Junie's head whipped to the side with a clink as the man punched her, and then grabbed his aching hand, groaning. She kneed him in the groin, throwing him off her before she rolled on top of him, snapping his neck.

She heard two thuds from behind her, one being Din smacking someone in the head with his rifle, and the other being that someone's dead body crashing to the ground.

She got up just in time to see another man running full speed at her, but he disappeared within a second. Din stood a few meters away, his rifle pointed to where the Trandoshan had just stood.

Another thing Junie liked about Din was the really awesome weapons he had. It's not every day you see someone get disintegrated before your eyes.

A beeping filled the silence, and Junie crouched down, picking up a tracking fob. "It's active..."

Din walked towards her as she stood up, the fob beeping in her palm. She took a step towards the child, and the beeping sped up. She pressed it against his cot, and it stopped.

"If they found it, do you think there are others out for the bounty too?" Junie's voice wavered as she spoke.

Din nodded, panting and snapping his rifle back onto his back, "we better get moving."

She threw the tracker back to the ground, stepping on it. "I have a bad feeling about this." She muttered as they took off, the child saying nonsense as they walked.

Din grunted as Junie worked to close a cut on his arm. "If you stay still it may not hurt as much."

"I am still."

"No, you're not."

"Yes, I am."

"No, you're-"

They were interrupted by a presence beside them. The child was trying to climb into Junie's lap, seemingly pointing towards Din.

"Hey bud," Junie set what was in her hands on Din's leg, picking the child up and walking back to his cot, placing him in there.

"Stay in there now, scary things are lurking around in these parts." She wiggled her fingers at him, and he looked at them inquisitively.

She moved her fingers over her visor, covering her eyes, "boo!" She uncovered her eyes, and the child jumped slightly, before letting out a tiny giggle.

"You'll make it cry Junie, your face is terrifying."

"Don't need to remind me." She joked, but it was halfhearted.
