We sat at the table in her home, unable to explain myself. "You see everyone thinks youre missing"
"So? What's that gotta do with you?" She questioned me.
"I'm trying to clear Sanzu's name, people think he murdered you"
"Who thinks he murdered her?" Baji asked catching my drift.
I looked down at my lap and spoke lowly. "The police"
"And what the fuck are you doing with the police?" Baji asked
"I got interrogated! Jeez I'm a criminal of course if I get caught they're gonna ask me things. I just wanted to see for myself if Haru was capable of killing his own sister!"
Senju hummed and then spoke. "You really seem to like Haru-Nii, are you guys like, together? He talks about you a lot whenever I see him and he even showed me pictures. I didn't think us meeting would be like this!" She said with a small smile at the end.
"I mean, I guess we're together? I don't really know but the point is you aren't dead and my side mission is complete. You know Takeomi thinks you're missing too right?"
"Yea I know, I just needed to get away from the gang violence and the only way to protect me was to have everyone think Haru-Nii had taken me out. You cannot tell anyone about this, not even him. If he finds out you snooped through his stuff and found me I don't know what he'll do."
"What else can you tell me about Haru?" I asked now wondering why everyone always says the same thing.
"He's a little crazy but he means well, he doesn't have many friends and you seem like a really nice girl. Too nice for him to be honest. He suffers from Borderline Personality Disorder. That's why he's so attached to Mikey and I can see it happening with you too." She explained. "He doesn't like many people knowing these things but Mikey and Baji already know, just don't make fun of him for it. he's been through a lot."
"I would never make fun of him for that. I have one more question and excuse me for my intrusiveness but how'd he get his scars?"
The room felt tense, both Baji and Senju giving me an off putting look.
"It's none of your business!" Baji spat at me. "None of this is your business! You're way out of line-"
"It's alright, don't yell at her" Senju said cutting him off. "I can see she really cares for him and I trust her." She turned to me and cleared her throat. "Mikey gave him those scars when we were younger over something I blame myself for. Haru and I were never on good terms since then but recently he's been a lot nicer and I wanna thank you for that. You're changing him for the better"
