I got ready for the event, the red dress Sanzu had got me paired with gold jewelry. I wasnt as nervous as i was a few days ago about the mission or maybe its just because im high. I walked down the stairs and was immediately in the hands of Sanzu.
"I told you, you look amazing in the dress" He mused in my ear.
"You two, separate" Ran said waving his finger to the both of us. "We can't have you fucking this up"
"Sanzu you're with the Haitani's and Kaku you're going in as y/n's date" Koko said giving us the run down.
"Oh really!?" I shouted moving from Sanzu to Kaku with excitement. "Im so excited! You'll be a wonderful date I'm sure"
"How high are you?" Kaku asked as I latched onto his arm.
Sanzu clearly annoyed but I didn't mind, Kaku was a nice fella and I trust him to take care of me in a better manner than Sanzu would. Kaku is clear minded, love Sanzu but hed make it so much harder.
The car ride with Kaku was peaceful as I got to know him a little better, telling me about a man named Izana, he even showed me a picture of him when they were younger.
"That's you!?" I questioned shocked.
"Yup that's me, I look terrible right?" He laughed.
I set his phone down and turned to him in the passenger seat. "You look good with a shaved head, the longer hair is nice but the short hair" I said. "Ugh perfect"
We both enjoyed each other's time, i didn't quite understand why he was with Bonten. He's not like the others. He has potential to do whatever he wants and he chooses this? How strange.
The 2 hour long drive finally coming to an end, Sanzu calling me every half hour to make sure I'm doing okay. It's nice that I know he thinks of me, he's so sweet.
I looked down at my phone smiling at his texts as we parked outside of the event.
Kaku cleared his throat and shifted in his seat a bit. "I know it's not my place to say anything" He said grabbing my attention. "There's some things about Sanzu that you should know. I'm gonna be honest, I don't like him. Nobody really likes him other than Mikey. Something happened a few years ago when we first organized bonten" He started.
"We were in our early 20s back then and he was the youngest, he has a lot of anger issues and he started doing drugs to calm him down only to make him a little loose in the head. He's dangerous, he would kill you in a heart beat if you did the wrong thing to hurt him and that being said he'll kill anybody who hurts you and I mean anyone.
