I laid with my seat all the way back, enjoying the drive ahead of us. My headphones were in, not caring for the world around me. Simply day dreaming.
I felt my headphones rip out of my ear. "We're almost there sit up" He said to me.
"Come onnnn, do we really have to go?" I groaned pushing my seat up.
"You know we have to it's only for a few hours, you'll know a majority of the people here at least" He said. He glanced over to me and smiled looking back on the road before rubbing my thigh. "I promise it'll be okay my love"
I sighed. "Will Fuyu be here?"
"Of course he will, him and Pah know each other fairly well. I promise the wedding will fly by and you'll have the time of your life" Kazutora reassured me.
I was anxious to meet his friends, I had went to Takemichi's wedding with him about a year and a half ago but I didn't really get to meet anybody since I was hidden. Having somebody from Bonten there wasn't the brightest idea but that's behind me now.
We pulled up to the event and I could already see tons of people heading in. My nerves over taking me I pulled out my pill bottle but Kazutora grabbed my wrist to stop me.
"You don't need those, I'll be with you the entire time" He said.
I looked down at the bottle before putting the cap back on. Shaking my leg rapidly instead as we found a parking spot.
He walked over to my side and opened the door for me helping me out. I held my dress so I wouldn't step on it.
"There's so many people Kazu I don't know about this. What is one of them knows him and runs back and tells him I'm in town?" I worried.
It's been 6 months since I had left Bonten. I've had no contact with any of them, not even Mikey. I refused the money he was trying to send us for a few months until he had finally stopped.
I felt sick to my stomach at the thought that one of them would see me. Especially him, Sanzu.
I had never once not thought about him, it wasn't easy leaving the man I loved. Looking back I should've seen this outcome but I was so naive and drugged out. Blinded by his beauty.
Kazutora placed his arm around my waist as we walked in. His eyes searched before finding the table. I felt myself start to hyperventilate.
"Relax" He said kissing my cheek.
I just smiled and acted as if I wasn't so nervous. We reached the table and I looked at the few familiar faces.
Hakkai, Baji and Chifuyu.
"Oh is this y/n!" The girl beside Hakkai said happily. She got up and grabbed me from Kazutora's arms. "Hakkai has told me so much about you! I'm Yuzuha" She said introducing herself.
