After Lex and Billy finished their little prank, we made our way towards our next class. I didn't really know what to expect in a class called Fundamentals of Psychopathy.

What I do know is that Vanessa is in this class, which is nerve wracking but exciting at the same time.

"I heard Vanessa and Chico arguing while I was delivering the packages." Lex said as we took our designed seats.

"About what?"

"Aren't you just a nosy little thing, huh?" The punk boy stated with a smile as I rolled my eyes at him.

I have a love-hate friendship with Lex. Somedays he's the biggest dick I've ever met while other times he's a nice bloke.

"Hey, that doesn't mean you have a change with Berlusconi. She's a Legacy and you're a-"

"Testa di cazzo! Watch where you're fucking going." Vanessa snapped at Shabnam who sheepishly apologized to her.

Everyone's eyes was on her, probably all wondering what got her in such a bad mood. Though it seemed as Juan already knew since he glared daggers at her.

Her hair - that was usually well-kept - was thrown into a messy bun while her face was bare of makeup. Her shirt was slightly unbuttoned and her blazer was nowhere to be seen.

Since when did she have tattoos?

Vanessa took the seat in front of me, throwing an annoyed look at her partner before turning around to face me.

"Arguello." She called out as my eyes widened.

Oh god. Okay, act natural. You got this.

"Berlusconi."

"Is Petra good? She was throwing up in the bathroom at lunch."

"Oh- umm, yeah. She's okay, I think."

Nodding her head, I watched her turn back around as more students filled the classroom. Though the teacher was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's the teacher?" I questioned Jaden who looked at me with disgust.

"Find a thousand ducks and suck them."

"So many?" I said with a smirk as the door of the classroom opened. Every student became silent, even Vanessa fixed her posture.

A man was pushed in a wheelchair by one of the monks. He had some sort of leash around his neck that confused me.

"Welcome to the Fundamentals of Psychopathy." He told the whole class as Vanessa snorted under her breath.

"Figures the teacher's an actual psychopath." She mumbled so lowly I barely heard her.

"Now, why would Lin enrol such a lowlife into his esteemed Atelier of the Deadly Arts?" The man questioned while rolling towards me.

Raising an eyebrow, I could feel everyone's eyes on us.

"You don't know my reptation?" That's totally bogus. Can't believe no one caught on yet.

"Reputations can be deceiving. Do you know mine?"

"Um, you're keen on astrology, 41 victims, no bodies found." Shabnam said with a raised hand as Vanessa shook her head, slightly chuckling at the fact.

"Imagine only killing 41 people." She whispered to herself.

"Cannibalism." Billy said in between coughs as the teacher made his way towards him.

"I would never resort to such desperate theatrics. Today we will be studying the murderer's muse, resentments."

"No better fuel for the feast. List what you despise, please." He asked Billy.

"Skaters who turn into rock stars. Like Gator, he's great, but the dude thinks he's Prince."

Billy, shut up, please.

The man in the wheelchair spat on him before moving on to Viktor.

"Capitalism."

"Yeah, that's hard to argue." Next was Lex, who didn't seem that interested in the class.

"Thatcher."

"Snore."

The man came back to me as Vanessa turned around to look me in the eyes. She was silently telling me not to fool around, but that man was pissing the fuck out of me.

"What about you, boy? What do you hate?"

"Bullies." I mumbled.

"Go on."

Vanessa shook her head but I was already going off on him.

"Tiny-dick egotists who hurt people for no reason, make people lock their doors at night. People who make general existence worse, people like you. Fucking hate people like you."

The man turned his wheelchair to face me, though the monk decided to put his stash in between us. Is he really that crazy?

"Today's lesson was on resentments. And it looks like I got a new one. I'm just trying to picture you without feet." He said before stopping next to Vanessa.

"What about you? What is it that you resent the most?" Vanessa turned her face to look at him, a smirk plastered on her face.

"Disloyalty. Backstabbers. Snitches." She enumerated as her eyes darkened at every syllable.

"What is the saying? Snitches end up with stitches?" Vanessa snorted at his words.

"Wrong. Snitches end up in ditches." She corrected as he smirked at her.

"Name?"

"Vanessa Berlusconi." She introduced herself, no fear or emotion could be detected in her voice and her face.

That's scary.

"Ah, Lorenzo's daughter. How's the family going?"

Everyone tensed up at his comment. We all knew - even me - to never mention Vanessa's family in her presence.

Lex and Petra told me that her uncle killed both of her parents to gain power over the mafia but she killed him. Rather gruesomely too, I saw pictures on the internet.

It was gross.

"How's the freedom?" She questioned back without hesitation.

The man nodded, not adding anything else before going back to the front and following his lesson on resentment.

I threw a quick glance at Billy, the green haired boy already looking at me with wide eyes.

"She's crazy." He mouthed.

"Crazy hot." I mouthed back to him causing a small snicker to escape him.

Can this day just end already? I really can't be bothered to get into more shit.
