- Berlusconi residence -The air was chilly, almost too chilly for a spring day. Birds weren't singing and the sky was a darker shade then usual.
A dark omen. Something bad was going to strike the family of four soon. Unfortunately, that omen came in the form of uncle Sal.
Uncle Sal was her father's brother and the next one in line for the throne before she was born.
Vanessa Rose Berlusconi.
The heir to the Berlusconi mafia and uncle Sal's competition. At the mere age of seven, she's been trained to kill without leaving a trace. She was molded into the perfect soldier by her father and her grandfather.
She wasn't stupid, her IQ surpassing most adults in her life but she never thought family could turn their backs on family.
She trusted uncle Sal, that was her first mistake. She let him in her house, that was her second mistake.
The final one was telling him that her parents were upstairs and leading him to them.
Her father must've sensed it, his knife was already drawn out when she knocked on the door. Little Vanessa couldn't understand why.
Why was her father so angry when he saw uncle Sal? Why was her mother whiter than a ghost? And why was a gun barrel pressed against her temple?
She wasn't scared.
She was mortified.
Her uncle Sal - her favourite uncle - had a gun pressed against her head. For what? Power? Money?
"Sal, leave her alone. She has no part in this." Her mother pleaded, tears brimming her eyes while watching her little girl.
Uncle Sal rolled his eyes, shooting the woman in between her eyes. Little Vanessa stared at her mother's body, mouth agape.
Her father froze.
That was his mistake.
Uncle Sal pushed little Vanessa to the ground, her head hitting the edge of the dresser. Her father fell to his knees, his hands clutching the body of his wife.
The body of the only woman he ever loved. The only woman he will ever love.
Uncle Sal didn't waste a second before slashing his brother's throat. Blood gurgling as his body landed with a thud on the floor.
Little Vanessa watched as the life drained from both her parents faces. Her innocence thrown out the window.
Uncle Sal, too caught up in his own act began laughing maniacally. It let the little girl time to find a knife and plunge it in her uncle's thigh.
An ear-piercing scream filled the silent room. Little Vanessa's chest was heaving up and down, her heart beating in her ears as adrenaline pumped in her veins.
She twisted the knife, blood staining her hands and his pants suit.
"Stupid fucking bitch." He spat, his hand coming down to strike her hard.
A sickening crunch could be heard, a smirk plastered on her face as she looked up.
Revenge was written in her eyes as they grew a shade darker then their natural green.
That sudden change of behaviour caused uncle Sal's eyes to widen in fear. He did not expect her next actions.
Kicking him where the sun didn't shine, little Vanessa punched his jaw before straddling him. Without missing a beat, she began hitting him with all the force she could muster.
His face was barely recognizable when she was done with him. Gripping his hair, little Vanessa tilted his head upwards and placed a knife on his Adam's apple.
"Paybacks a bitch, dear uncle."
She whispered lowly before slotting his throat, his blood spurting on her face. Her uncles blood staining her clothes and skin.
Little Vanessa sweetly smiled at the man begging for his life. His hands tried to grab her arm but she moved away from him.
Kicking his side, the little girl watched as her uncle tried to crawl towards her. Bending down, the seven year old chuckled.
"You killed them." She slowly said before breaking his hand. A loud scream filled her ears, causing her to tsked at him.
"Now it's your turn to die."
A gun in her hand, a bullet in her uncle's head, blood staining her skin and two dead parents was how Master Lin found her.
He promised to train her the way her family would've wanted at King's Dominion.
Little did he know, that she would be the most feared and most powerful mobster in the whole crime world.
