"Any day now." the Melisande woman called in a hushed shout. She was perched on the window seal to the dark apartment, acting as watch out. The blinding lights of the towers surrounding them would make it difficult for anyone to spot a specific person down below, but the warrior's green eyes were glaring up at the night sky. "I don't know why you are being so tense my dear," a voice cooed from the other side of the apartment. "This is Magnum Bay, between Metropolis and Gotham no crime happens here. You won't have to worry about the man of steel or that brooding bat coming." The woman said smoothly, not looking up from the safe that her fingers were nimbly working to crack open. "Besides, ever since that little accident at the circus with that family – the bat hasn't been seen." "You're being far too lax about this mission Cilice." The warrior growled, her eyes narrowed. "And you're being too uptight about this Talia" Cilice chuckled as the safe gave a satisfying click and the heavy door swung open.

The women made quick work of cleaning out the safe's contains andleaving the apartment. "You have what you need, and I have what I need." Taliaseethed, keeping her distance from the pale woman standing on the roof withher.

"This is where we part."

"Awe, leaving so soon?" Cilice purred, her bag now slung over her shoulder, the glock that was once in her hand was now replaced with a grappling hook.

"The League is expecting this shipment before dawn, if I wish to make that deadline I need to leave now" The Melisande woman hissed. Cilice let out a small chuckle and nodded, clutching the strap of her bag tightly and stepping up onto the ledge of the roof, "Then I hope to meet with you again in the future." "Hopefully not," Talia muttered under her breath. The pale woman gave one more nod before firing her grappling hook and disappearing into the night.

"Sweety~ I'm home!" Cilice called, opening the rotted door to the dark apartment. The building was old and decomposing. Chain-linked fences with warning signs plastered to them surrounded the place after it had been shut down due to a mold-out brake in the walls and vents. But tonight, it was being used as a pitstop for the black market dealer and her tag along. "Mama?" a small voice called. "In the kitchen my dear! I brought dinner!" Cilice responded. The pitter-patter of feet was heard as the small child ran into the dark kitchen. Her yellow eyes were bright with excitement. "Did you get it, did you get it?" she asked, ignoring the Chinese food that was being set out and going straight to the backpack on the table. The pale woman quickly held the bag out of the child's reach. The little girl gave a pout, "Mamaaaaa," she whined, " I wanna seeeeeee." Cilice gave a small chuckle and set the bag down and patted her daughter's hair, the small waves pressing flat against her hand.

"Soon my dear Avis, soon."
