Dozens of mini fires were scattered in the clearing as Avis and M'gannsprinted to the field where they had landed the bioship. A tall funnel ofblack menacing smoke grew from a building and spread into the sky. "Rob what did you do?!" Wally asked inshock through the mind link – coming into the clearing, quickly spotting hisfellow teammates running to the red aircraft. "It wasn't me! Well, not all of it at least—" "Can we get to safety thenargue about who's to blame?!!" Superboy cut in. "Blitz got the vials – let's just get out of here before the firespreads and someone gets hurt!"
At his words, Avis glanced at M'gann, while they were both safely on the ship with Wally, she wasn't sure if they were safe from the heat. M'gann noticed her teammates stare and offered a smile "I'm fine Blitz the heat can't get to me from in here" she promised. Avis gave a small nod, relaxing but not by much, none of them were safe until they were in the sky miles away.
Rapid gunfire could be heard in the distance and the teens shifted uneasy glances. "Should we?" M'gann began but Avis shook her head. "No, we can't risk Bane getting the venom. The others will be fine." Wally gave her a harsh glare and shook his head muttering under his breath before sitting down in his seat. Avis blinked, her bright eyes narrowing dangerously, "What was that?" When the speedster didn't respond, the tan-skinned girl scoffed and turned away and went back to the ramp of the bio plane – in hopes of seeing her teammates. Superboy came first, then Kaldur, and finally Robin.
A wide smirk was plastered on the Boy Wonder's face as he threw two more birderranges at the gunmen chasing him, almost to taunt them as they exploded. Once the thirteen-year-old was safely aboard, they quickly took off and flew away from the now burning jungle island, none of them missing Bane's angry yells as they flew away.
At first, everyone was silent, occupying their time by messing with their fingers or staring out at the dark sky enjoying the quiet. Wally let out a slow and low whistle breaking the silence and causing Avis to let out a sharp sigh of annoyance. "Oh, would you stop that?" Wally spat turning in his chair glaring across the cockpit at the younger girl. "Stop what?" Avis shot back in an equally fed-up tone. "That. That right there. Being all sassy and rude to everyone." Wally growled standing up, his dark green eyes narrowed. "Wall..." Robin said in a warning tone, glancing at the girl sitting behind him, having the same dangerous look in her eyes. "I'm sorry, did I hurt your feelings with my tone of voice?" she mocked, a small growl laced in her tone standing up.
Avis's eyes darted all around the red head's body and space around him, figuring out what her plan was should he snap and try to pounce at her. "Wally please calm yourself," Kaldur'ahm said, eyeing both teens. "Me?! What about her! Ms. I am the Night! Ms. I do things my way!" he turned back to Avis. While she still had her mask on you could tell that she had a deep frown on her face, her eyes were narrowed and one of her eyebrows was cocked upward. "You're not Robin and you're sure as hell, not Batman!" the speedster continued on. "And for that I'm glad." Avis sneered. "At least I can say with confidence that while yes, I am not great with my teamwork, my mind is in the right place. You are so insecure and focused on showing others that you're not just the Flash's protégé – his little sidekick cowering in his shadow that you don't even focus on the mission at hand. And that is a move that only a child would make."
With every word Wally grew angrier, until finally he pulled his fist back, ready to take the first punch only for it to never meet its target. Robin stood between the two snarling teens, holding his best friend's fist. "Wally, calm down. We're all just stressed and tired." The Boy Wonder tried to reason. "She still has no right to go and profile me like that!" Wally spat, not relenting. Avis still had her hood and mask up, but you could see the calm collected smirk on her face as her eyes were half-lidded.
After a few more minutes of Robin calming his friend, Wally finally gave up and walked to the back of the ship, muttering explicates as he left. Avis sat back down in her seat and kept her eyes trained on the clouds that the ship cut through showing that they were close to home. But she did not miss Robin staring at her through the glasses reflection. He did not seem upset though, simply confused... or curious.

Wally was the first one off the ship and the others following suit. The Team headed for the kitchen for water or a snack, Avis on the other hand quickly made her way to the showers and lockers.
Coming to the locker marked B-09– her designation number as well as a plaque with "Blitz" written into it. The teen opened the door and pulled out her bag containing her civies, which she would wait to change into until she left the Mountain.
When she walked back out into the common room, only M'gann was in the kitchen, mixing up some dough. "Hey Blitz! If you stay for a few more minutes, I can have some cookies out and ready!" she offered with a bright smile. Avis hesitated, she wanted nothing more than to get out of her sweaty suit and cleanse her face before her masknee surfaced and caused her chin to break out. "I-I don't know." She muttered and M'gann's face fell a bit but she quickly regained herself. "I understand, it's past midnight and you don't need to be walking the streets alone." Avis let out a silent sigh of relief, thankful that she understood and proceeded to head to the Zeta Tubes. "I'll leave you some in your locker for you tomorrow though!" The green skinned girl called from the kitchen. "Have a nice night!" and before Avis gave any sort of response, she was teleported away.
