yelan decided to take a few days off so you guys were just sitting together. she was playing with her dice but had a slightly bored expression on her face. you thought of something you two could do together and that is... truth or dare! "hey yelan? do you wanna play truth or dare?" you don't know where you got the confidence to put on a mischievous smile but you did anyway. to your surprise, she agreed. you were more surprised of the fact she knew what it was and how to play it, it's not often you find someone in teyvat who knows how to play truth or dare. by rolling the dice, the two of you decided who was going first. and of course as expected, yelan won. "truth or dare?" the more you thought about it, the more her half-lidded eyes looked menacing to you. "dare." you said with a cheeky smile. yelan knew you had some type of feelings for her, and over time she has started to reciprocate it. how could she not? you're so kind to her. she decided to give you quite the risky dare, "i dare you to hold my hand while keeping eye contact for me for 10 seconds." a sly smirk appeared on her face upon seeing you all fidgety and nervous, but nonetheless extending your hand towards hers while staring her in the eyes. the seconds felt like eternities with how intensely you were both staring at each other. you swear if you could see your own eyes right now, there'd be hearts exploding in them. the 10 seconds gave you both some time to admire eachothers facial features. your body felt like it was on fire, why were you so nervous around her? after a long while, 10 seconds have finally passed. you reluctantly let go of her hand with how soft it felt. "truth or dare?" you clear your throat, clasping your hands together in your lap. "dare." honestly you expected that response. "i dare you to... um. kiss my hand?" you tilted your head at her, afraid that she'd be disgusted at the idea. despite your doubts, yelan's hand grabs your wrist gently and her head leans down to plant a small kiss on your knuckles, winking at you as she does so. you've learned to controlled your inner tomato better, so all that was shown on your face was light pink. but what you haven't learned to control was how fast your heart was beating right now.

it had been quite a few rounds now with you and yelan coming up with weird dares and truths but also occasionally the romantic ones. "truth or dare?" she looks at you expectantly. for the first time in a few rounds you chose truth. "alright then.. are you perhaps.. in love with me?"
. . . there was silence.
"was it that obvious..?" you swear tears were going to escape you any moment now from embarrassment. seeing your eyes starting to water, yelan used her finger to wipe away your incoming tear slowly. "don't cry beautiful, because i feel the same way about you." and there was your favorite closed eye smile appearing on her face again, you think it suited her. it was quite a shock for you to see her admit her feelings about you, frankly you thought she deserved someone better but you appreciated it anyway. "if it isn't too much to ask.. does that mean were official now?" your tear-stained cheeks were replaced with pink. you thought you were dreaming, your heart hammering so hard against your chest you almost wanted to pinch yourself to confirm this was reality with the way she silenced you with a kiss on your lips. you couldn't help but think how her lips were so soft, just like how you imagined. yelan's fingers lift up your chin as you both hesitantly pull away. "does that answer your question?"
