In which you, the reader, with a dendro vision falls in love with a mysterious lady.

you didn't get to wake up in the most peaceful way as you felt a string made from hydro hold you up by your neck. when you opened your eyes fully to look at the owner of the strings, you were quite stunned by her beauty. "state your reason for being here." the stern looking women said as her emerald eyes bored into you. her hair was black and blue ombre, which you overall found her appearance quite attractive. upon further inspection of her looks, you noticed the hydro vision on her. before you got to speculate any further you felt a tug against the string around your neck. "i thought i asked you to speak didn't i?" her eyes slightly softened seeing your trembling form. to be honest, you were quite afraid of her. "i..um. i was uh.. permitted to be here.. i'm just trying to find this special flower that's all, i promise." you sweated nervously as the woman looked at you suspiciously before releasing the strings with a snap of her fingers. "next time don't intrude in case people think you carry ill intentions. it'd be a shame for someone as pretty as you to die." her half-lidded eyes examined you, falling to the dendro vision around your waist, letting out a noise of approval. "i guess you're trustworthy enough for now, you're free to go." the lady donned a sly smirk on her face, choosing to turn her back against you, beginning to walk away. "wait! could i possibly stay with you or if you know somewhere i can stay? i know this seems very sudden. its just i came here without a plan and nowhere to sleep. sorry if its too much to ask for—" before you could ramble on, the woman silenced you with a finger on your lips. "ah.. you innocent naive little thing, coming in here without any sort of preparation. hmm.. you could stay with me. i mean why not? unless you have have alternative motives for doing this." she was very cautious, to which you sweatdropped at. you've already shown you had no ill intentions with your explanation, yet she seemed to not completely trust you. thats to be expected, although you couldn't really tell just from her expression as her smile was still present.

the mysterious lady lead you to her temporary home at the chasm. it was well hidden by the trees and cliffs. "well you could stay in that room over there for now." she pointed to a door down the hallway. your eyes stared into hers, unintentionally making eye contact with her. her smirk seemed to widen at that, making your face heat up. if you had a mirror right now, you were sure you looked like a tomato with how much you're blushing. "easily flustered are we?" she let out a small chuckle. after you finally calmed down, you let out a question. "is it ok if you tell me your name? ill tell you mine! its (name)." you averted your eyes from hers, fidgeting with your bracelet. "no need to be so nervous around me, i'm yelan." she extended a hand towards you, expecting a handshake. to which you slowly shook her hand. you couldn't help but marvel at how soft her hands were even with gloves on. "as much as i'd love to stay and keep you company, i've got work to do. until next time miss (name)." with that she was off.

you sat on the bed, thinking about your encounter today. how so much could happen in one day. it all surprised you. you heard the sounds of a door opening and shutting. the door to the room you were in was soon opened as well. behind the door revealed yelan, who you had actually started to enjoy being in the presence of. "i think you've got the wrong room, of course i don't mind if you sleep with me tonight~" she laughed at her own words. your cheeks suddenly felt hot from that comment, there was no way someone as attractive as her was saying that. "i was joking alright, i wouldn't wanna scare you away during the day we met." her sly smile appeared back on her face again, you think her smiles and smirks suited her, but you would never say that. although after hearing those words your heart dropped a bit, doubting yourself. perhaps she was maybe a little out of your league, still you would like to believe maybe you had a chance at winning her heart.

you returned to your own room in a hurry, jumping into the warm bed and scolding yourself for being so ignorant. though she didn't seem to mind your intrusion in her room... you wonder what would happen if you pushed a little further and— no! you scolded yourself again for thinking of such thoughts about her. you guys just met so you deemed these thoughts inappropriate. you did find her personality and looks attractive to a certain point. but looking at your reflection in a cup of water that laid on a nightstand, you could see how you looked so different from her. how you compared how ugly you looked compared to her charms. you decided to just down the water in one large gulp and cuddle up in your blankets. closing your eyes, you shut off all other thoughts you had in your head.
