Honestly, I couldn't think of anything better for the cover.
If you're reading this, sit back down, Karma is currently on backorder. I'm still working on the first chapter.
Scratch that, I have no idea how to start. It's gotten to the point where I've just gotten bored and started writing random words for example the words penis pills and foreskin.
Anyways, for those of you wondering, I have roughly half of the outline complete for this book, but there are two parts to it so I'm contemplating leaving it half done and writing the first part and then starting the second part. Idk, let me know if y'all have any tips and tricks or smth.
I know this might be getting to be a lot on my page now, so I wanted to give you a little breakdown of the content. (These are chronological)
The Darkside of the Devil - is a story about my main OC Clayton Jennings who appears in the first part of General Lee's Revenge. It explains his backstory and who he is. This has been recently rewritten.
Crimson - is a story about Luke Duke's time in Vietnam and as a POW. It also explains a bit about my two OCs Le Minh aka "Leah" and Allen Ridgefield.
The Wrath of Jackson - I believe is pretty self-explanatory. This explains the story of what happened when the character Jackson (who is from Osage) ended up in Hazzard under the command of the Hogg brothers, which is mentioned and discussed in the third and final part of General Lee's revenge between General and Cooter.
A Trucker's Anthem - is a story about Rig, Thunder, and the Dreamer. This is in the process of being rewritten. A Trucker's Anthem tells the ballad of how Thunder got his powers and the significance Dreamer held at the time. Think of it as a crappy version of the movie Convoy.
General Lee's Revenge - is the first book of the series which was originally called Under One Roof. It starts off with Boss Hogg and Rosco seeking refuge with the Dukes after being hunted by two men named Clayton Jennings and Russell Williams. After some cat and mouse, Bo and Luke are kidnapped and almost killed by the men but are rescued in the end. Next comes a ruthless gang in the second part and Hughie Hogg's dastardly plan for Hazzard in the end as well as the Defects. That's right, the OG General Lee's Army, General Lee, the Striped Tomato, Trigger, Christine, Thunder, and Herbie.
Cross-Country - is the second book in the series where Luke battles through some mental health issues and Jackson meets a fortunate end per Christine and Cooter. Thunder stumbles across an old friend and the Dukes decide to take a vacation after coming into some money, to which Bo discovers his father, John Cathoway, is still alive and well.
Family Feud - is the third book in the series where General Lee is set up in a race against a notorious car from Detroit named General Grant and KITT shows up at the Duke farm. After a much-too-close scrape with death, Bo and the General Lee receive help from an unlikely source: Russell Williams and his wife Caroline. Unfortunately, though a changed man, Russell meets an untimely end against Grant's driver, Bradley Reid.
Knightmares - is the fourth book in the series. The first part in which the Knight Foundation for Law and Government arrives in Hazzard and General goes missing. The Dukes and the Defects go up against an unusual foe known as the Acid Corporation, located in Savannah, aiming to get General back, but find Michael Knight instead. In the second part, Cindy Tarantino, whose family business was burned to the ground comes back for revenge, but not without a pair of Duke boys of her own looking to rob Hazzard's bank.
A Car's Worst Fear - is the fifth book in the series. When Boss Hogg starts dealing dirty with the Prescott Auto-Salvage Corporation, the main target is Defects. During these trying times, Christine mysteriously vanishes and the Dukes and the Defects pull double-time to get her back. However, their efforts go in vain when the Prescotts are not stopped in time and Christine is killed by a corrosive chemical agent known as Theta.
(And there is much more to come, but no spoilers for Karma because there are juicy details. Until next time.)
Edit: Final edit start 8/6/24
