Chapter 6: A Prince

I woke up as usual, feeling the torture of the world. It was nothing out of the ordinary.

" My lady, we should hurry. A guest is arriving. " the maid spoke as she spread the cutains open.

After waking up, as an instinct I went to the bathroom, have the maids clean myself, dress me up nad prepared to leave.

It was a tradition that all people on the Duchy should gather in the entrance if a royalty comes to visit our mansion. I stood at the entrance, waiting for the guest to arrive.

I can feel the eyes of the servants looking at me. They must've known that I made Leora cry.

" You, you were the one from before! " a familiar voice of a little girl exclaimed.

I stayed still, waiting if the Duke will say anything.

" Leora, this is your Sister Timothy. I didn't manage to introduce her to you properly before because she was busy with her studies. " father spoke as he smiled gently.

I know that he can't tell her the truth.

" I, greet the daughter of the Duke, Lady Leora. " I bowed to her.

" Now, now, why are you so tense. Aren't we family? " the lady smiled.

Family...

I kept quiet, although my heart was a little delighted that she thinks of us as a family.

" The Emperor and the First Prince has arrived. " the butler announced as trumpets began to play a melody.

" The Duke of Magnus greets, his majesty the Emperor and his highness the Prince. " the servants bowed to show respect towards the guests.

Blond hair and blue eyes, the special trait of the royal family of this empire.

Among generation, the descendants of royalty always inherits the unique trait of the royals despite the mother having a different trait. It was a sign of their high mana capacity. The more vibrant the hair, the more mana a person have.

While the eyes shows their mana purity, the lighter the color is, the purer the mana the user has.

" Your majesty, I welcome you to the house of Magnus. " we bowed together to show respect towards the blond people.

" Haha, it's been a long time Alexander, it's like yesterday when we used to fight which is more capable in combat. " the emperor joked.

It was true, I hear a lot of rumors that father would always spar with his majesty during their childhood. They are still in a tie up until now because in terms of mana ability, the emperor has the upper hand but father's swordmanship ability is better than the emperor.

Thus make them their greatest allies and also their greatest foes.

" My, I never knew the Duchy has two beautiful young ladies. Might I ask your names? " the emperor smiled to both of us.

" I, Timothy Blake Magnus, youngest lady of the Duchy 0f Magnus, greets his majesty, the emperor. " I bowed after greeting the emperor.

" What a very proper young lad, you take after your mother so much. " the emperor smiled at me.

I felt warmth in my heart when he said those words to me.

" I'm Leora! I'm the daughter of my father! " she smiled happily after saying such words.

I was left speechless, what the hell is she doing?

" Hahahaha! What a vey bold way to introduce yourself, very hinest indeed! " the emperor was overjoyed to hear her.
