"Tohru!" Shigure said as he walked into the house. "Yes, Shigure?" She asked as she ran over to him. "I'm inlove with you. I'm also really sorry for hurting your feelings and making you cry." He said as he looked at her blushing. "Shigure." She said softly as she leaned in and kissed his lips gently. "Tohru, I'm ten years older than you." Shigure stated, looking directly into her eyes, trying to reason with not only Tohru, but himself as he pulled away from her. "I don't care. My mom and dad were nine years apart. Age doesn't matter to me." Tohru softly said. "I know what your weakness is, Tohru Honda." He said smirking as he pulled her into his arms but not quite like a hug. "Oh what is it?" Tohru said blushing heavily as she looked into his eyes. "It's us." Shigure replied as he leaned in. "How did you figure it out?" She questioned him. "I merely observed your behavior while around us and how protective you are of us." Shigure said as he pulled away from her. "I was wondering if you were you planning on going to the White Day festival by the river?" Shigure asked Tohru, curiously. "I wasn't going to." She admitted. "I wasn't either but if a certain someone saved me a dance?" Shigure said as she turned looked him straight in the eyes, dead serious. 'Did he really just ask her that. Shigure had asked her to save him a dance.' Tohru thought as she blushed heavily. "Of course, I will save you a dance. But if you hold me you'll transform." Tohru replied smiled happily. "I have found a way around that little thing. So, shall I go to the festival then or would it be a waste of time?" Shigure asked as he prodded gently. "You should go but I hope you have a backup dance partner." Tohru advised as she looked back at his smiling face. 'She is so adorable.' Shigure thought to himself as he looked at him. He began to run his fingers through her hair. She smiled softly as he put on some calming music from the radio that she had set up. Tohru Honda left the house later that evening and headed to the festival. The clock in her car read one forty two in the afternoon. Near the square, it was just full of people and booths around. Since the nuns from the church was understaffed, Tohru helped them sell the years supply of candles for the church. After a few hours had gone by the Nuns released her when they were all sold out. She ran over to the dance floor to find Shigure. After walking around for a few minutes, as she got closer to the center of the court, she heard soft, even music drifting through the air, like it had all the time in the world. She saw Shigure sitting on a bench waiting for her. She ran up to him happily. "You waited for me. Until I was finished helping the Nuns." She said as she looked at him. Shigure stood as he went and approached her. "Indeed. I told you I would, did I not?" Shigure said as he looked at her. "I can be patient when there is something I want, Tohru." Shigure added, his smirk practically tangible in the restful silence. Shigure smiled as he walked to her swiftly and silently. The music was still playing, rhythmic and mellow, as he stretched his hand out to her. The couples went Shigure and Tohru bowed and curtsey to one another. "Is that all you want?" Tohru asked him. "No, I want something else but I wouldn't want to force you into it." Shigure said slid his hand along her arm until their position was to his liking. She then placed her free hand on his shoulder, and tentatively placing his own free hand upon her hip. "Why? Are you embarrassed to be seen with me, like this?" He asked stepped deftly to the left, urging her to follow his movements. "No, not at all, Shigure." She replied instantly as she learned the dance and followed his movements exactly. She eventually got the hang of it. "So you really do love all of us huh, Tohru?" Shigure said teasing her. She blushed heavily and only nodded in response. "Did you enjoy your time helping the nuns?" He asked changing the subject for the moment as he guided her along, the music playing calmly in the air. They went in circles, keeping it simple, and yet doing it with him felt so elegant. "Yes, it was nice feeling useful for once. I am sorry that I am late for our dance though." She said as she closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, catching the faint scent of something crisp and spicy. "It's alright." Shigure said as she looked at him happily. All she was filled with happiness when she danced with Shigure. Shigure twirled Tohru around before pulling her back and dipping her gently. He held her hand and gently pulled her closer by her waist as they danced together. She leaned in and kissed him gently on the lips. After their dance, they went into the festival, bought food and set up a spot with a blanket for them. They sat down and ate their food as they watched as the fireworks began. Soon, the festival ended and they got a cab back to their house. They were exhasted in the cab as they rode home. When they got there, the two got out of the car and walked up the large staircase. They took off their shoes as they entered the house and went their separate ways to get ready for bed. Tohru was in her underwear, and an oversized t-shirt. Tohru leaned up and pressed a soft kiss to his lips. She then cuddled him and he transformed but neither of them seemed to care. She held him as she then fell asleep but she looked so peaceful that he didn't want to risk moving. So he covered them both up with a heavy and warm blanket. He then spent a few hours of the night watching over her, while also playing with her hair. But he soon became tired and eventually also fell asleep with Tohru next to him.
