Shigure's Mission

Dinner

Their curses broke but nothing changed between them. Everyone remained together as a family, Yuki, Tohru, and Kyo went off to college, Ayame and Mine were dating, and Hatori was with Mayu. Momiji was reunited with Momo and his family. Rin and Hastuharu were together graduating this year. Tohru stayed in their house with Shigure. All their family members came together and visited them every two weeks. This was one of those days and some things never change. "So Tohru!" Shigure exclaimed. "Welcome home, how was your first day of college?" He asked her as he met her at the door. "Hello Shigure," Tohru said, smiling, "School was great!" She exclaimed happily. "I have my little flower all to myself." Shigure said, smiling. "No, not yet. I have to finish some homework and then cook dinner, my love." She said as she looked at Shigure as hummed to himself. 'Ah, my precious flower, if only you knew how much everyone in the zodiac loves you even Akito.' Shigure thought to himself. "I have to go pick up Akito for the banquet tonight." He said as he looked at her. "Okay then, Ill do my homework and then get a start on Dinner." She said as she kissed him softly on the lips. She got started on her homework. Before she then headed for the kitchen to prepare the beef stir-fry. 'I hope he makes it back in time for dinner.' She thought to herself. Tohru, Kyo, Kagura, Hatsuharu, Izsu, Momiji, Kisa, Hiro, Kureno, Uotani, Hana, Kazuma, Ayame, Mine, Hatori, Mayu, Ritsu, Mitsuru, Machi, and Yuki were all having fun catching up and hanging out. "I'm gonna kick your ass ya stinking rat!" Kyo growled. "I'd like to see you try, cat." Yuki taunted. They began fighting and went through the door. "Why must you all be so keen on destroying our house?" Tohru said as she shook her head at their antics. Thirty minutes later, as everyone sat down to eat, Shigure came home with Akito and sat down beside her. "Hi Shigure, Hello Akito." Tohru greeted him as she placed a plate in front of each of them. "Is everything alright?" She asked worriedly. Shigure looked up at her and gave a smile. Akito ate dinner and kneeled down, sitting next to her. She then began to gently play with her hair. Tohru jumped slightly at her touch but otherwise remained still, continuing to eat. Tohru leaned over in front of Shigure as she refilled everyone's tea cups. "Shigure?" She said softly as she looked into Shigure's eyes. "Hmm..." Shigure mused, resting her chin between his thumb and fingers. "Why must you always tease me?" She asked him softly. "Because I love you, Tohru and you make the cutest noises and faces." He said as he leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips. "You are a very intriguing little girl, Tohru. Not only have you squirmed your little way into the hearts of my entire zodiac clan, but you have also managed to capture my heart as well." Akito said softly, looking at her. "Oh, I just remembered that we have a surprise for everyone, follow me!" Tohru said as she grabbed Akito's hand and led her down the hallway. Everyone else followed her excitedly. "Now, when you decide to visit and come over, everyone has their own room here." She said.

Downstairs was Hana/Hazuma, Uo-chan/Kureno, Akito, Hiro, and Kisa's bedrooms. Akito walked into her new bedroom. "For me?" Akito asked. "Yes." Tohru said as she opened up the door and led her inside. The bedpost and door had her name and intertwined hands with a cross on it that symbolized God. "Wow, you created rooms like this for all of us?" She asked shocked but smiling happily. "Of course, you are my family." Tohru said as she looked at him. She brought each of them to their rooms which made them so happy and excited about their rooms. Then they went to Hanajima and Kazuma's room, which was decorated with black drapes and had bookshelves about magic and beautiful black candles around the room. "You know me so well, Tohru." Hana said smiling happily. "You are my best friend." She replied. There was a lightning bolt and a martial arts symbol on the bedpost and door along with their names. Then they went to Uotani and Kureno's room was decorated with multiple kinds of weapons and books. The symbol of the Crimson Butterfly and Roosters was on the bedpost and door underneath their names. Then to Kisa's room was pink and filled with cute stuffed animals and anime. Her headboard and door had a tiger engraved onto them underneath her name. "Thank you, sissy!" Kisa exclaimed as she ran over and hugged Tohru before letting go and jumping on her bed. Next to Kisa was Hiro's room filled with amine movies and books on shelves. His headboard and door had a sheep engraved onto it with his name underneath. "It's not half bad." Hiro said. Tohru smiled happily. Upstairs were Haru/Izsu, Tohru/Shigure/, Hatori/Mayu, Momiji, Ritsu/Mitsuru, Yuki/Machi, Kyo, Kagura, Ayame/Mine. They walked upstairs and got to the first room which was Hatsuharu and Izsu. They shared a room, it was filled with different kinds of books and video games. Their names were engraved on the headboard and door with an Ox and a horse engraved above it. Then they went to Tohru and Shigure's room which was filled with books and stuffed animals. Their bedpost and door had a dog and a rice ball on it engraved above their names. Down the hallway was Hatori and Mayu's room. It was filled with medical supplies and books about medicine. "Wow, this is actually so amazing, thank you, Miss. Honda." Hatori said smiling softly as they walked in and explored. The bedpost and door had a sea dragon and a book engraved above their names. Next to them was Momiji's room, which had been filled with cute stuffed animals and a violin for him to practice with. "Wow, this is so amazing Tohru!" He said as he ran inside and smiled happily as he picked up the violin. His bedpost and door had a bunny engraved onto them above his name. "Thank you!" Momiji said as he ran over and hugged her. "Always." She said softly as she hugged him back. They went into Ritsu and Mitsuru's bedroom. It was filled with cute clothes and books. Ritsu and Mitsuru's bedroom door and bedpost had a monkey and a book engraved onto it with their names underneath it. They moved into Yuki's bedroom. She kept everything the same in Yuki's bedroom but added a bedpost and door with a rat and mouse engraved onto it underneath their names. She changed Kyo's bedroom with a little bedding a bed and a bedpost. And on the headboard and door with a cat engraved onto it underneath his name. Next to Kyo's bedroom was Kagura's. Kagura's bedroom was filled with cute stuffed animals and books. Kagura's bedpost and the door had a boar engraved onto it with her name. Ayame and Mine's bedroom was decorated with beautiful silk drapes, a sewing machine, and a mannequin for them to work with. Their bedroom door and their bedpost had a snake and a dress engraved onto them above their names. Everyone explored their newly installed rooms for a while before coming back to the living room and sitting down. Tohru leaned over in front of Shigure as she refilled everyone's tea cups. Tohru smiled as she climbed into Shigure's lap and watched the anime that was playing on the television.

They stayed together and  lived happily ever after as family.
