Author's POV

As Jimin was about to get inside the car again..

Someone grabbed his shoulder making him jump out of shock.

He turned around to see...

Miya

"Oh sorry you got startled. Did I scare you?" She asked

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I'm also coming with you guys. I also want to go home." She said.

"Why? Just now you were saying its dangerous to leave." Jimin asked.

"My niece is staying with me now because my sister and her husband is in aboard for some business meetings and today before I left for work I dropped her to my neighbor granny's apartment and I thought when I reach home I'll take her with me to my apartment.

And I knew if I get trapped here then that granny will look after her so I was going to stay here but now I'm going to take this risk.

I wasn't planning to take this risk but now in that news that reporter said the rescue mission isn't even planned till now. So I thought if things get even worst in our surroundings then there is chance of us getting trapped in here for weeks. And Ruby will not stay there this much days without seeing me, she will be sad. She is my responsibility. So I thought its better to take this risk now.
Otherwise I'm sure I'll get trapped in here." Miya said.

"Get inside the car." Luca said.

And then both Jimin and miya got inside the car and they drove off.

~At Granny's apartment~

"Ruby what are you doing there?" Granny asked

"Nothing." Ruby says in her cute voice.

"Hmm I don't think so. Are you again playing with water princess?" Granny asked.

Ruby instantly run towards granny and show her tiny little hands and said.

"Gany ruby didn't played in water, ruby is a good girl." Ruby said cutely making granny chuckle

"Yeah ruby is my good girl. Now come we will eat something." Granny said and went to kitchen ruby also followed her to the kitchen.

Granny took the food and went to hall with ruby and sat on her couch while switching on the television.

"Princess open your mouth." Granny said while holding the food infront of ruby's mouth to feed her.
And ruby opened her mouth and eat it.

But just then granny saw the breaking news.

"Oh Jesus!" Granny mumbled out in shock.

The thing which scared granny the most was...

The reporter was giving out the details of red zoned places. And the apartment where granny is now sitting and watching this news is in one of the red zoned place.

Their whole apartment building is now filled with zombies.

Granny slowly looked at the 6 year old little girl sitting near her who is playing with a toy without knowing a deadly disaster is happening around them.

Granny was more concerned for ruby. She slowly patted Ruby's hairs with a sad smile. She don't know whats going to happen to them. But the only wish she have now is ruby to be safe.

~At Ministry of National Defence Korea~

[The Ministry of National Defense is a department within the government of South Korea and responsible for the military branches of South Korea]

An offical board meeting with the Minister of National defense and other officers of Army was going on there, about the current pandemic happening in busan.

They were discussing about the rescue mission.

"I don't think we will be able to save each and everyone from busan it is a risky mission." One of the officer said.

"Just consider we save them and then what if one of them was infected and he/she kept it secretly then when we shift them to other state that one person is enough to spread this virus there. All the uninfected people living there will also get infected and this will be out of our hands, we will become helpless and like that this virus will spread in whole Korea and then all around the world. it will only cause a big disaster." Another officer said.

"I think we should just let them die there, otherwise everything will get even worse." Another one said.

These opinions was disappointing the Minister.

But General Baek Hyeon was deeply immersed in his thoughts, he didn't replied till now.

[General Baek Hyeon - Chief of staff of the Republic of Korean Army]

"General why are you not saying anything." Minister of National Defense asked.

"What you want me to say sir? Those suffering people aren't any of these people's relatives So they don't have any concern about them, so what? should we let them die?" General Baek Hyeon asked.

"We are concerned about our family what if that virus spread to other states also? That's why we are not showing any interest in saving those peoples." Someone said.

"Assholes." General mumbled under his breathe

"So that's it right? We are planning a rescue drama and fooling the people right?" Minister asked.

"General Baek Hyeon, what's your opinion?" Minister asked with a hope.

"Sir, if you give me the required orders for this mission then I will take the lead for this mission. For this mission I only need is your permission orders. I don't even need any advise from these merciless selfish creatures. All I need is your support." General Baek Hyeon said, a spark of determination glowing in his eyes.

"Proceed with the mission. We are doing this mission." Minister said with a proud smile.

"Mr Hwan, inform the commando's and soldiers to get ready for the mission." General Baek Hyeon ordered before standing up from his chair.

" One more thing. Whoever is not willing to do this mission can resign from their jobs. Cause what is the use of keeping useless fellows in our National Defense Forces." Minister said.

"Whoever is agreeing to do this mission can come with me to plan further about this mission." General said before bowing to the minister and went out of the meeting room.

Soon most of the officers who were willing to save those people from the very beginning, went out with Mr Hwan. And then after that other officers who were disagreeing with the mission at first also followed them for the survival of their jobs.

~Armory~

[An armory has traditionally been a military storage compound where machine guns, rifles, pistols, ammunition, parts, and accessories are kept.]

"Mr Hwan, get the weapons ready fast. We should begin this mission as soon as possible. We can't risk more lives." General said.

"Yeah, sir. Sir all the soldiers are assembled in the field. You said we should separate them into teams." Mr Hwan said.

"Yeah, I know. Did General Dae-jung arrived." General Baek Hyeon asked.

[General Dae-jung - Chief of staff of the Republic of Korean Air Force.]

"Soon sir." Mr Hwan replied.

"Lets go." General said.

To be honest I don't know anything about korean army and all. So if I said anything wrong in this chapter then please forgive me.
