♡ "and then I met you."

"So, this is where I live," Chenle smiled while tapping in the pin to his front gate. Jisung continued to stare at the boy. He found the size of his house a bit overwhelming, but still beautiful nonetheless.

"Sorry for canceling last time," the smaller apologize, running to catch up to the other who started to walk up the driveway.

"I told you it was fine already," Jisung shook his head. He didn't understand why the older continued to apologize for canceling their plans to hang out. He didn't care, at least that's what he thought. In his mind being alone was more gratifying than being around people.

"I know, but I still feel like a horrible person for doing that," Chenle fiddled with his fingers, "my brother needed help with this new recipe on short notice and-"

"Zhong," Jisung stopped the boy from talking, "I said it was fine. We're here now, right?"

"Right, yes."

"Good."

"Chenle!" Jisung heard someone yell from the end of the driveway. Both boys turned around, being greeted with the site of an older male, yet he was shorter than them, especially when compared to Jisung.

"Taeil hyung," Chenle waved at him, "are you looking for Kun ge?"

"Are you assuming I didn't come here for you?" Taeil held a hand over his chest as if he was offended by the boy's words. "No," Chenle pouted, making Taeil immediately ruffle his hair once he was standing in front of him. Jisung just stood there staring at the interaction. He wondered what relationship the older had with Chenle, but he quickly got rid of his curiosity. Not wanting to ponder on something meaningless.

"Oh— hyung!" Chenle clapped his hands together, "this is my friend, Jisung. We met at school."

"My apologies," Taeil held his hand out for the younger to take, "my mind was a bit far, so forgive me for not noticing you." Sounded like bullshit to Jisung, but he still took the hand that was held out to him anyway.

"Now back to Kun, is he ready yet?"

"I knew you only came for him," Chenle stuck his tongue out. Cute, Jisung thought, really cute.

"Well, we do have a restaurant to run."

"And you also have a thing for my brother," the boy added. Jisung didn't know why he felt relieved knowing that Taeil's relationship with Chenle was completely platonic, but he did.

"I told you not to bring that up," Taeil smacked the back of the boy's head. "Ouch!" Chenle whined as he subconsciously clung to Jisung's arm. The brunette blushed at the contact, silently relishing in the feeling of the other's small hands.

"And for that, you're going to suffer alone without knowing how long Kun ge is going to take."

"Don't do that," Taeil pleaded, but Chenle had sassily dismissed the older by flipping his imaginary long hair while pulling Jisung into the house with him.

"Umm— are you sure we should leave him outside?" Jisung questioned after they entered the older's house. As a habit, he instantly took off his shoes at the front door and placed them in a corner neatly.

"Taeil hyung practically lives here. He can find my brother at his usual spot," Chenle rolled his eyes, "now shall we?" He continued to say, ushering his hands towards the stairs.

"Okay," Jisung shrugged. Chenle smiled, grabbing the younger's wrist as he quickly ran up the stairs with him. Jisung didn't know why they were running, but he wasn't complaining. Mainly because he enjoyed the skin contact with the older. Which was odd, considering the type of personality he had.

Once they were safely inside the other's room, Chenle released the other's hand, hoping Jisung didn't notice their fingers were interlocked during their little marathon.

"May I ask why the running?" Jisung sat on the boy's bed.

"Well," Chenle nervously laughed, "my brother doesn't know I invited you over."

"Why not?"

"Because......he's a bit overprotective?"

"Umm— okay," the brunette shook his head, "but your other hyung saw me, so wouldn't he find out?"

"Taeil hyung knew about it already," Chenle sat beside the other, folding his legs and resting his head in the palm of his hands, "he promised not to say anything too."

"If you say so." Honestly, Jisung didn't even know why he wanted to hang out with the boy in the first place. He concluded that maybe it was in the heat of the moment, but even after Chenle canceled he agreed to do it another day.

"What do you want to do?" Chenle turned his head. Jisung thought the older looked adorable sitting in that position. His cheeks were puffed out because his sweater paws pressed into them and his feet curled into the bed sheets.

"I don't know? Sleep?" Jisung replied, his eyes showing little to no emotions in them.

"You came this far to my house to sleep?" Chenle chuckled.

"I don't do much besides listening to music," the younger said in an almost defensive tone. It was true, he wasn't one to go out of his way and involve himself in useless activities. And yes, games were included as one of those useless activities to him.

"You're a weird one, Park Jisung," Chenle stood from the bed and walked over to a drawer. Jisung could see he was taking something out of it, but he couldn't tell what the object was. "But I like weird," the older waved the object in the air, "is it okay if we listen to music with this together?"

"A CD player?" Jisung looked at the device in excitement. He always wanted one, but none of the stores he visited carried them anymore and Jaemin claimed he was too young to have a bank card of his own to order online.

"Yeah," Chenle brushed some of his grey-toned hair behind his ear, "so?"

"Bring it here," the younger held out his hand. Chenle giggled softly at the boy's reaction, finding the way his eyes glimmered at the old device too cute for his heart.

"How long did you have this?" Jisung questioned as he played around with the CD player in his hand. "My dad gave it to me a few years ago," the older smiled, laying back on the bed with his legs propped against the wall.

"Music time?" Chenle took one of the earplugs and pushed it into his left ear.

"Yeah," Jisung softly smiled, laying opposite the other, but instead, he let his legs hang out the bed. "I hope you have good taste in music," he continued to say while pushing the other earpiece into his ear.

"You'll just have to find out," Chenle winked, making Jisung chuckle deeply before pressing the play button.
