Chapter 35

October 5; 2016

"Welcome back." Stefan said as Becky pushed Seth up to the desk in the lobby.
"Thank you." Becky said. "Have many guests checked in?"
"Yes quite a few." Stefan said.
"Good." Seth said.
"Shall we check you in and get you to your room?" Stefan asked.
"Yes." Becky said.
Stefan nodded and after signing in they went up to their suite.

"Careful." Becky said and Seth stood from his chair and walked to the bed,
"I know." Seth said.
Becky smiled and pushed the chair to the corner and moved over to him.
"You are getting stronger." She said.
"It's going to take time." Seth said having finally accepted his fate.
"Yes and we have that and we have each other." Becky said. "I know being sidelined and rehabbing sucks but look at it like this, you get to watch as I grow and change and our daughter comes."
"Son." Seth said and both smiled before kissing.
It was still to soon to know the sex of the baby.
"Either one will be nice." Becky said.
"Yes." Seth said smiling. "I am starved his about we go have lunch and see who is around."
"Yes." Becky said. "Can you use your chair, save some energy?"
"Sounds good." Seth said.
Becky smiled and kissed him again before getting his chair.

"Hey man." Josh said coming up.
"Hey." Seth said.
"This place is amazing, I understand why you want to get married here." Josh said sitting down.
"It still feels magical." Becky said.
"So how are you feeling?" Josh asked.
"I feel good." Seth said. "Tired but good."
"That's good." Josh said. "The doctors still sure about your timeline."
"Yes, they want my skull fully healed and my energy back to normal before K began rehabbing." Seth said.
"After the new year he can start rehabbing." Becky said.
"I'll make sure to clear my calendar." Josh said.
"Thanks." Seth said. "I know I am looking at a long road back but iT gives us time for other things."
"It does." Becky said smiling.
"Why do I feel like there is a secret there?" Josh asked.
"There is." Becky said. "But we want to wait a while longer before we share it."
"Okay." Josh said.
More and more of their friends and family arrived. Everyone was excited to be celebrating Seth!s recovery, the end of the nightmare that had become their lives but that they were going to be married.

October 6, 2016

"Becky." Jojo called hugging her.
"Hi my sweet girl." Becky said hugging her back.
"I am so glad you and Uncle Seth are okay." Jojo said. "I was so scared."
"Thank you my sweet girl." Becky said. "Are you excited to hit the spa?"
"Yes." Jojo said. "Mama said she texted you a list of things I could do."
"She did and my mom has agreed to hang out with you." Becky said.
"Yay." Jojo said. "Your mom is so funny."
"She is." Becky said.
"You make sure to listen and have fun." Roman said.
"I will daddy." Jojo said. "If you talk to mommy tell her I said hi."
"I will." Roman said and Becky walked with Jojo into the spa.
"Ms. Annette." Jojo said running over and hugging her.
"Hello Miss Jojo." Annette said.
"We'll ladies shall we get started?" Becky asked.
"Let's get our relax on." Naomi said.
Everyone agreed and they started with the treatments.

"Hi." Becky said sitting down next to Charlotte.
"Hey." Charlotte said. "Thanks for having me."
"I know things have been crazy but you are my best friend." Becky said. "How is your dad?"
"He's recovering." Charlotte said. "But has huge gaps in his memory."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Becky said. "I hope he recovers."
"Me too." Charlotte said. "There are so many things I need answers too."
"Me too, but hopefully in time we will get them." Becky said.
"Yeah." Charlotte said. "Are you excited for tomorrow."
"Yes." Becky said. "I am more then ready to get married."
"Seth is looking better." She said.
"He has his days." Becky said. "Meds are helping along with resting."
"That's good." Charlotte said. "How long will he be out?"
"It depends on how he heals." Becky said. "His doctors think maybe 2018 before he's back full time."
"Wow." Charlotte said. "And you?"
"About the same for me." Becky said.
"Still haven't told people." Charlotte asked.
"No, we're waiting." Becky said.
"I understand." Charlotte said.
"I am glad you are here." Becky said.
"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else." Charlotte said. "I am looking forward to celebrating you and Seth."
"And more." Becky said.
"And more." Charlotte said.
