Chapter 18

April 25 2016

"Hello." Becky said seeing Mick come into where she was getting her make up done.
"Hello." Mick said. "How are you feeling?"
"I feel ready." Becky said.
"That's good." Mick said. "You okay after last week."
"I've learned I can't dwell on why people do the things do, I have to focus on what I do and if things get to far I am not afraid to do what I need to do." Becky said.
"Those are good things to have learned." Mick said.
"Riding around with Seth and Roman who have been through a lot has given me a unique look on things." Becky said. "I know everyone wants to beat me, I'd just like it done with class and I know we're in the conflict business so if they wanna go dirty I can go dirty. I just want to be a champion who inspires everyone."
"You are doing that." Mick said. "I've seen the fan supporting you, the guys and girls in the back as well. You are changing things and people are noticing."

After finishing her make up they walked out to the gorilla to see the schedule.
"Contract signing." Becky said.
"Oh boy." Mick said making her laugh.
"Hello you two." Stephanie said. "Ready for a contract signing?"
"Yep." Becky said.
"Good." Stephanie said. "We are opening with it."
Becky nodded and looked over the plan and agreed to it.

"Are you hiding from me?" Seth asked.
"No." Becky said looking up from where she sat with Mick.
"It's my fault, I have been telling her stories." Mick said.
"It's cool." Seth said. "Just wanted to wish you luck before you go out."
"Thanks." Becky said standing up.
"Have fun." Seth said.
"I will." Becky said kissing him before going to get her title belt.

"So things are good." Mick said.
"Things are great." Seth said.
"You found a winner there." Mick said.
"Oh I know." Seth said. "Anyone who can put up with me when I am completely frustrated and beyond irritated is a keeper."
"How's the knee?" Mick asked.
"It's good." Seth said. "I think having her around in the beginning kept me from pushing to soon, training her gave me a great distraction."
"She said she's benefited a lot from you." Mick said.
"I like to think we're even." Seth said. "She helped me and I helped her, gave us a great base as friends to build on."
"Good." Mick said. "I better go, I am needed for the signing."
"Have fun." Seth said and both laughed before Mick went to the gorilla.

Natty was already in the ring with Bret who was donning a neck brace so now it was time for Becky to go out. The fans were lit tonight and Becky smiled feeling the energy.
Michael Cole was in the ring do do the signing.
"Thank you for joining us." Michael said. "This Sunday at Payback you will be facing Natalya for the WWE Women's Championship, in her corner will be her Uncle Bret the Hitman Hart." The crowd cheered and Becky smiled. "Now from what I understand you have found an ally to have in your corner."
"Now usually I would not need someone in my corner as I know I can do what is needed in this ring on my own to defend my title, but since we know these Harts like to play dirty and loose I figured I should find someone to watch him." Becky said as Mick Foley's music hit and the crowd went nuts. He made his way to the ring.
"Okay, let's get this contract signed." Michael said.
"You could have a million people in your corner but I am still going to win because we are the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be." Natty said before signing the contract.
"We'll see Sunday who the best really is." Becky said signing the contract.
Becky's music hit and she went to leave but Natalya rushed her knocking her to the ground but Becky got the upper hand locking Natalya in her dis-arm-her when Bret yanked her off by the hair but Becky punched him right in the jaw and he went down. After that they left the ring and walked to the back.
"That was great." Stephanie said.
"Thanks." Becky said.

She walked towards catering when two arms grabbed her and drug her into a closet.
"Hi." Seth smiled.
"Hi." Becky said. "Why are we in a dark closet?"
"For this." Seth said kissing her hard before both forgot where they were.
