A New Fighter?

Pixel fell out of the portal and rolled down a hill, eating flowers. Kaabi jumped down and checked if she was okay, which she was.
"Poyo!" She spat out the flowers and looked at him.
"Yes Kaabi?" She stood up with help of her sword and looked around. They were inside of a forest.
"Kaabi, how do we leave the forest?" He grabbed her hand (which was easy because she wasn't that tall) and led her through, smiling as he did.

After 10 minutes, they got out of the forest. There was a beautiful mansion. I mean, there were some scratches on the windows, but it looked better than anything she'd ever seen.
"Poy!" He led her to the mansion. She was a little nervous to open the doors though. They looked like golden balls with a cross on them. She froze as he was about to kick them open. He looked up at her.
"Poyo?"
"I-I'm kinda scared, sorry Kaabi." He giggled and kicked it open. She hid behind the door. And then the voices came in.

"Oh hey Kirby!" Said a woman.
"Kirby, where were you? You had Sakurai worried!" Said another woman, but she didn't sound like a human.
"Hey, you lil pink ball of weirdness." Said a man that also didn't sound human.
"Ridley, be nice!" Said the first woman.
"Oh screw off, Daisy. I'm still mad about what just happened."
"You mad that we beat ya?"
"YES. I AM. BECAUSE I DIED TO THE STAGE HAZARDS 4 TIMES! BECAUSE YOUR RULESET WAS GARBAGE!"
"Meh, sounds like an excuse. Doesn't it, Isabelle?"
"Oh, I'd rather not get involved in this argument! Anyways, Kirby where were you?" He dragged Pixel out and pointed up at her. She froze in fear.

"Wait, you found a kid?!" Yelled the woman called Daisy.
"Hello, child! My name is Isabelle, it's wonderful to meet you. How did you get here?"
"Kaabi convinced me to follow him... I'm sorry if I'm a pest but I heard this was a fighting game?"
"Oh, you mean Kirby? Anyways you're right! This is a fighting game. What's your name, kid?" Asked Daisy.
"My name is Pixel! I'm from an old DS game called Pixel's Cake Quest!" They looked at her with confusion.
"Never heard of it." Said Ridley. The others nod.
"But anyways, if Kirby found you then I guess you were invited! Follow me, I'll take you to Sakurai!" Said Isabelle.
"Sakurai?" Asked Pixel.
"Masahiro Sakurai! He's in charge of Smash Bros, follow me!"
"Wait, what universe is this?"
"Super Smash Bros Ultimate!" Isabelle led her through the mansion, but it was surprisingly quiet.
"So how many people are there?"
"Hmm... Around 82? I kinda lost count a bit."
"Then why is this place so quiet?"
"I think that they're all battling in a tourney. There's like 3 going on right now." Isabelle got to an important door, but Pixel froze again.
"Are you okay, Pixel?"
"... I'm kinda nervous. Again."
"Oh that's okay, I'll go talk to him-" She noticed Pixel's sword.
"Oh, that's a cute sword you have!"
"Thanks, it's the Pink Cake Sword, but I nicknamed it Pancake (yes I know it's the Pink Ribbon Sword) I've had it since development!"
"Well Pancake is the pinkest sword I've seen here- Oh I'll go talk to him now." Isabelle went inside.

(5 minutes later)
Pixel heard Isabelle exit.
"Okay, so he had to Google you and I think he may consider it. I think Kirby just wanted to play so I doubt you were chosen for Smash. But! He said if you do some certain trial thing called the 'Smash Random Newcomer Test' then you can join. He just needs to find you a teammate because that's part of it."
"Can you be my teammate, Isabelle?" She sighed.
"I don't think so, I have a busy schedule. But maybe Kirby will! Here's some advice, just don't choose Pichu, he literally hurts himself with his attacks." Pixel was kind of alarmed.
"So what is this test?"
"When Kirby wants someone to join Smash for whatever reason, they must defeat 30 Primids, the last one being incredibly strong. They cannot do it alone however, and they need a teammate. They can choose the teammate, but they must agree. If either of them get KO'd then the person cannot join Smash. But if my schedule wasn't busy, I'd definitely join you!"
"Oh, it's okay, Isabelle! But question is, now what? Also there's like 80 fighters! How do I choose one?" She cried. Isabelle pat her shoulder.
"It's okay, Pixel! If you can't decide then you'll get a randomly generated fighter. But if you want to choose, then pick one that you'll train with for 2 weeks. As for what now, I think you'll be taken down to the Announcement Hall. It's a desk surrounded by chairs. And just keep calm, alright? There's nothing to fear."
"Do I get to befriend anyone?"
"Oh, of course you can! I'd recommend Peach or Jigglypuff. Maybe even Lucas. They're pretty easy to get along with!"
"Okay, so when do I go?" Just then, Sakurai exited his office.
"It's nice to meet you, Pixel. I am Sakurai. Thank you Isabelle for telling her details!" Isabelle nodded and walked away.
