Your back ached.

Your chest felt tight from each slow and heavy breath you took.

You slowly opened your eyes to a dark and blurry sight.

You tried your best to make something out of what you see but struggle as everything seemed to spin.

A silhouette of a person is in front of you, calling out your name.

Their voice was muffled and drowned out by the ringing in your ears.

"(Y/N)!"

"(Y/N), wake up!"

"Please..."

The voice cried out.

You tried to say something but your lips won't move. You were paralyzed.

You were tired.

Exhaustion took over your body so you close your eyes again and went to sleep.

You feel the warm light touch your face.

You carefully open your eyes once more but your vision was foggy.

You see a form of a person in front of you again.

"(Y/N)?" They called, their voice translated as an echo in your head.

"h-Hunter?" You barely managed to say, your voice breathy as you struggled to speak.

"You're awake!" The voice cheered.

"Eda! She's awake!"

Your vision finally cleared up.

You see Luz sitting beside you as you lay in bed.

"Luz? Is that you?" You muttered.

"Yes, it's me. I'm so glad you're awake." She smiled, seeming relieved.

"Five more minutes..." You grumbled as you bury your face in a pillow and snuggle in your blanket.

Luz gasped in disbelief.

"Wha- a- (Y/N), you've been sleeping for three days!" Luz yelled.

"Uh... Ok? Three more minutes..." You bargained, your words muffled by pillows.

"Oof- h-Hey!" You let out a sharp exhale as you feel something jump on your stomach.

"You will not go back to sleep, (Y/N)!" King demanded in an angry tone.

"i-I forbid it..." His once authoritative tone sounded sad as he hugged your arm.

Then, reality finally struck you.

"Luz? King?" You slowly sit up.

"I'm back in the Owl House." You realize.

"But how?" You were puzzled.

"(Y/N)! You're back!!" Hooty bawled as he entered through an open window and rested his head on your lap, proceeding to cry loudly.

"What's happening?" You were still confused.

Eventually, Eda enters the room.

"Kid?" She called.

She paused by the door for a moment and looked at you with sadness in her eyes.
