*A Month Later*
Avaenará POV:
I was on my way to the Eastern Empire. Apparently Rashta's pregnant with Sovieshu's child. I was in the carriage with Suga as he tells me any recent news about Rashta that he got from his spies. He tells me that Rashta is still gifting the eastern empire's jewels to Lotteshu and that Rashta's child was named Ian.

"Does she truly not want to see her son?" I questioned. "No your imperial majesty. Though she has ran into Alan who have her a cloth wrapped of his baby hair." Suga tells me. "I see. Well we will be visiting the Eastern Empire soon for the banquet of Rashta's supposed child."

The carriage started to slow down and stopped, indicating we have arrived. The carriage door opened and Suga was the first to step out before giving me his hand. As he helped me step down I looked and saw Navier, Sovieshu, and Rashta. Though Sovieshu was leaning more towards Rashta. I also saw the bump Rashta was carrying. 'So the mistress is pregnant.' I thought to myself.

I rolled my eyes before walking up the stares with Suga by my side and the others behind me.

"Imperial empress, welcome back. Thank you for being with us in this occasion." Navier says. I smile to her. "Thank you Navier. It's good to see you too. Though I'm quite opposite for the occasion."

I then turned to Sovieshu and stared at him. "Emperor." "Imperial empress."

We have each other a brief nod. "Thank you for being here. Though aren't you being a bit hypocritical?" I rose my eyebrows at Sovieshu. "I beg your pardon?

"You praise the empress for sponsoring a young girl into becoming a mage but can't congratulate me for bringing an heir to the Eastern Empire." Sovieshu smirked.

I clenched my fist. RM walked up to confront Soviesu but I stopped him. I took breath before speaking again.

"Unlike you Sovieshu Navier had a reason for sponsoring the young girl. She brought another inspirational mage to the empire." I calmly state. "Unlike you, you are bringing in a child that is neither a prince or princess. Therefore they would not be an heir to the empire unless Navier adopts the child as her own. I thought you knew your history Sovieshu."

Before Sovieshu could speak Rashta spoke up. "Your Imperial Majesty!" Rashta gave a small bow. "Thank you for coming! It means along that you came to celebrate mine and his majesty's child!"

"Yes...well I would congratulate you but there's no reason for me too." Rashta looked confused. "Pardon?"

I shook my head. "Never mind. I wish to rest before tonight. Navier, mind walking me to the northern palace?" "Not at all your imperial majesty."

Passing by Sovieshu and Rashta I gave them a glare as the others did as well.

After arriving and settling into my chambers Mira was looking through my dresses to see what I should where tonight, while Darla wrapped the gifts.

"Do you think Rashta will like the gifts your imperial majesty?" Darla asked. "Of course she will. She may not know the meaning behind it but as long as it's something shiny and expensive she won't care." I sipped my tea. "What have you gotten her?"

"I got the baby some toys. They're the Northern Empire's simpler toys." Darla says. "I got the baby some books. Hopefully it'll be better educated then the mistress." Mira states. I laughed. "Let us pray to that."

"What about this dress imperial empress?" Mira turned around and held a silver and black fitted dress with a matching transparent cape with fur as the shoulders. The dress was detailed with peacock feathers and red beads. In her other hand were simple silver and black heels.
