Class started with out a hitch. The only problem: I was in Drama. The witch had placed me into Drama. I sat in the far back row thinking no one would bother me here but I was wrong. A group of boys and girls sat off to my right and since I was in the last seat of the row I couldn't move. A girl with red dyed ahir sat next to me. She gave me one glace but I didn't turn to speak to her or look at her. Her bright colored ahir gave me the impression that she was one of those overly perky girls. That soon changed when she spoke to the guy beside her.

"Do you think she's gonna pick Amber for the school play again?" Her deep but still feminine voice asked him. He scoffed.

"Don't doubt it. Not unless some one new challenges her." I noticed the look the girl gave me over her shoulder and I looked at her.

"Not a chance, Red." I said and turned to the front.

"You know eavesdropping could get you into a lot of trouble."

"Really? Well how about going to a class you know nothing about. How much trouble for that?" She smiled and shifted to look at me.

"Lots."

"Good to know." I held out my hand. "Sapphire." She shook it and grinned.

"Jade. Welcome to hell A.K.A. Drama class." She thrust out her arm elegantly and gestured at the whole auditorium.

"I'm Jack." The boy reached over Jade's shoulder's to shake my hand. A little difficult since Jade had little room to lean forward for it. I didn't repeat my name since I knew he heard. He flicked his head to the right and his jet black hair moved out of his face. I noticed some of the kids move from ther seats to sit behind Jade, Jack and me. We all began to get aquainted with one another. I learned that Jade and Jack are twins. Jades boyfriend Tomas is the one with blonde white hair and has a football quarter back body figure. The two girls who look chinese are really Asian and their names are Sudarshini meaning: beautiful lady, and Sumiko meaning: smart girl. They look exactly the same. Sudar also Sugar, since they all seem confused by the d, Is the actual smarter one and the one with spiky purple hair. She's also the one who dresses like that chick off of Resident Evil 5: Ada Wong. Only Sugar has a leather jacket, the red ress is a corset like shirt, and she is wearing black jeggings with tears on the front thighs. Her shoes are black converse boots that lace up in the front. Sumiko dresses more lady like with a baggy gray sweater, pale blue skinny jeans and a colorful scarf with blue purple and specks of black. Her black hair is tied back into a tight ponytail and she is wearing those really cool brown army boots.

They both are wearing the same makeup: Purple eyeshadow, thin eyeliner, and a shiny lip gloss with little color. And the astonishing thing is: they aren't related. In any way. I stared a little to long at them because Sugar said, "Keep staring and I might just make the school year difficult for you." In her thick accent. I looked away but couldn't help the glances I gave at them. Sugar let them go and I returned my full atention to the front of the room. The small plump lady up there, who I now knew was Mrs. Chandelir, was just finishing up with something about vandilization when she looked up at the horde of teens in the back. Her eyes settled on me and she grinned. I shrank into my seat. Oh no.

"Oh and one more thing, we have a new student." She held hr hand out at me and everyone turned. They stared directly at me. "Mrs. Meru, would you bless us with a few words?" I shook my head vigorously but the woman wouldn't let it go. "Oh come on, just tell us a few things about yourself." I kept shaking and she sighed. "Just tell us your name, and and a few things about you. I sighed and slumped. I stood up and looked around the room.

"Hi, uh, my nme is Sapphire Meru." I could practically hear the signature cricket sound and cough. "Uh, I'm new, obviously...." They kept staring and the smile I tried to plaster on began to falter. I was gonna sit down when she asked, "What's your talent?" I flinched. No.

"Uh, talent?" I looked around the room at the eager faces. Oh well, might as well tell them. "Uh, well I can sing but I'm not very educated in this acting gig."

The woman smiled and clapped. "Well, that's alright dear. I'm sure we can help you with that can't we?" She adressed the class. I sat down and noticed that someone was still staring. It was that boy from the lobby. He stared at me and didn't turn away. I looked to my new friends to see if they noticed but they were too ingaged in a discussion about wether or not I could really sing. I was too startled to get made at the doubters. I looked back and he was still looking. I waved and he smiled a little. I looked back to the front but he never looked away.

I was on my way out of the door when he caught my arm and dragged me down the opposite way everyone else was going. "Hey-" I tried to pull away but his other arm circled my waist and he propelled me down the hall. "What are you-" He pressed me against the wall behind the row of blue lockers. It blocked off my sight of the other studuents and I knew it blocked of theirs of us. No one could see us. I shoved at him but he wouldn't budge. "Are you insane?"

"No. I just needed to talk to you." I scoffed.

"So you kidnap me and shove me against a wall? You could've just asked." I tried to slide along the wall and out off his arms but he planted a hand against the wall at my hip. He did the same with the other and leaned into me. I tired to lean back but the wall prevented it. He was a little to close and I tried another shove but he only smiled.

"Yeah. Exactly." He moved his hands so that they held my hips and I froze. He grinned at my reaction. "Don't worry. I'm not trying what you think I am." Really? Beacause it sort of seems like it, I thought. "Just tell me one thing." I stared at him waiting for the question. "What are you doing this weekend?" I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously? This little liaison seems a little extreme for a question that big." I dove dove out of his arms and moved down the hall.

"Well how else do you want me to do this?"

"Try getting to know me first and then when I seem to like you and when you probably still like me, ask again." I turned down the hall with him at my heels.

"Will do." I rolled my eyes. When did guys become so corny? Did they honestly think this was cute?
