I rolled over in my purple duvet and smashed my head into my pillow. I reached ofer to the bedside table and tried to shut off my alarm, but with no success. I sat up in bed and yanked the clock off the table. I hit the off button so many times my hand stung. I rubbed my forehead and smoothed my hair back. I'd forgotten to take my rings of when I went to bed and so they sat snuggly on my pointer finger and ring finger.
My door swung wide open as a hoard of women came in. Some were carrying clothing and were fixing my dressers. Others had trays that crried hygiene items. And one lady had a tray full of breakfast.
"What the-" A lady held out an envelope. I took it reluctantly.
I looked inside. And pulled out different packets of paper work. "What's this..." My voice trailed of as I read the top title. "Ive been enrolled at highschool!" I looked up to see the lady look at me with a face that asked why I was shouting. I tossed off my blanket. I sputtered and muttered as most of the women cleared out. The papers were all filled out and by the way they looked this was only a copy of the originals.
"Mrs. Pontera said that the files were already mailed to the school and that everything is in order. You just have to arrive." They stalked out.
I read the title again. "St. Helena High School." Oh boy.

I showered quickly and chose one from the five outfits spread out for me. I chose the black boots that went perfectly with the black dyed jeans. I picked out a white lacy tank top from one of the other outfits and one of those jean like jackets. Only I expected the material to feel rough but it was soft. Almost silky kind of.
I dug around my bag for my beanie which was also black. I found my tiny black studded earings and put them on. I dug some more and found the heart locket my grandmother had given me.
"So that you'll never forget us no matter where you are." She placed it in my hand. Her hands were soft but wrinkly. I didn't care. She pressed her head against mine in a tight embrace. Her beautiful silvery hair falling in her face in the process which made her look younger.
"Grandma, I would never forget you guys. No matter where I am."
Grandfather bursted into laughter beside me as he embraced the both of us. His curly beard tickled my ear. "That's because we're to awesome to forget." We all laughed.
I opened the locket to the the familiar faces of my granparents. They were holding each other in a couple's picture. On the other side it had a poem which I read aloud.
"When will your time here be over and done and gone. Ten seconds, days, years from now. Let go wondering of the span, jump into the interim." I knew the poets name by heart. Harry Yeatts. Smiling to myself I stood. I pulled the locket over my head so it would slide onto my kneck. It matched my outfit perfectly. I stared at the beautiful intricate designs that covered my necklace. A knock at the door interupted my thoughts.
"Um, Ma'am? Are you ready?" She came in. "Oh, well. If you need a ride I could get the car eady?" Her voice was squeaky.
I shook my head. "No, it's alright. I have my own car." I picked up the bagthat one of the maids had brought in when I had changed.
"There are already school supplies in there so you need not worry." She shuffled around the room and began to pick up the clothes I didn't choose.
"Ok, um, thanks?" I phrased it as a question because I didn't know what to say. The maid just nodded her head.
"Uh, one quck question before you leave." I pulled my Ipod of of my duffle. It was wrapped in my black earphones. "Do you know where this, uh, St. Helena High School is?"
