The Meeting | 1

[50 Years Ago - 3rd person Pov]

"Shadow, I know this is too much for you to promise me this. For all the humans and other living beings on earth, give them a chance to be happy. Make some new friends on your journey. I'm always with you in your heart. I will watch over you up here. Sayonara, Shadow the Hedgehog." Maria got shot but then puled the lever and let the pod Shadow was in dropped down to earth.

After the pod landed, Shadow was being cryo statis inside the pod after it landed in the forest. For 50 years, Shadow's pod was hidden. No one even noticed the pod was there. But someone may have known something crashed in the forest.

[Present - Sonic's POV]

"EVERYONE JUST GOES AROUND GASPING AT ME WHEN I CALL A GUY: A GUY OR PEOPLE: PEOPLE!" everyone in Amy's house was shocked hearing Sonic. "I QUIT HEROING! AND I QUIT THIS STUPID GROUP!" then he threw his handmade hat and went outside running back to his house to lay down on the hammock and thinks on what to do next now that he retired. Sonic sighed as he was hoping everyone realizes their own mistakes and could've protected themselves rather than rely on him only. Hope they won't miss me much because I won't be coming back.

[A few moments ago- Shadow's POV]

'I was just walking around hidden in a cloak to see if there is anything interesting happening in the village. Then I heard something, which is probably the hedgehog eggman told me about and so I went to check what is going on through the window. No one saw me which is a good sign.'

"EVERYONE JUST GOES AROUND GASPING AT ME WHEN I CALL A GUY: A GUY OR PEOPLE: PEOPLE!" everyone including Shadow himself was shocked. But Shadow didn't seem as suprised as the others. "I QUIT HEROING! AND I QUIT THIS STUPID GROUP!" then Shadow saw Sonic run off to somewhere. He followed Sonic for awhile now. Staring at him through a window.

[3rd person POV]

Sonic is still laying on his hammock thinking, "Maybe I should go to find a new scenery to chill at." Sonic then ran to a place hidden and made a hammock with the 2 trees and layed down there and looked at the sea view. "Huh, this is actually pretty great. relaxing by myself. Away from all the stress because of the villagers." As you know, Shadow is still curious as he still followed Sonic.

Then Shadow left by chaos control and back to his hidden house in the forest, taking the cloak off and put it on a chair he stole. Then he looked at the picture from the ark 50 years ago, it was also cryo-statised so it's still cold to touch. "I miss you, Maria... I don't really know if I really did my promise. But I promise you, I will after i get rid of that hedgehog. But at the same time, why do i feel the need to visit him without attacking? Hm...". "Whatever, this has nothing to do with me. I should go take a walk around the forest." 

Shadow then brought a gun that he stole from some government called G.U.N. It's pretty far, but Shadow managed to stole some weapons after he was released from his cryo statis. At that time, he didn't work for eggman. He fooled eggman into thinking he joined his team. Only for him to betray him after he freed eggman from being chased down. After that, Shadow went to get the chaos emerald that only he can notice the energy flow of it.

After Shadow brought what he needed, he walked outside and made sure that his place is hidden from other people. After that he went for a walk.

[Meanwhile with Sonic]

Sonic was chilling with his coconut drink, but then got bored and then hearing the screaming. "Should I go back or not? Hm, I should just stay hidden while observing if everyone really stood up to themselves." Sonic made sure to run carefully to not attract anyone's attention.
