Kiera’s POV
‘F*CK’
As I cursed inside my head, hindi ko mapigilang mapabuntong-hininga. I’m really bored as hell right now.
Its been a few days since I regain consciousness, I can now stand up and walk, although I still didn’t regain my full strength, its still better than lying on bed for a whole day.
Right now, I’m on the rooftop garden of this hospital, because of this, I cam freely see my whole surroundings while the wind gently pass through me. As I close my eyes, all that I can feel right now is bliss. ‘It would be nice if its always like this.’
Although, I know that will never happen.
As I continue my walk, I pass through a small man-made pond and there, I saw a tall woman wearing a plain white v-neck shirt pair with a plain white pajama, as I look at her face, what greeted me is her blank expression. I blink my eyes and she also did hers. Then I realize its my reflection! Great! The clothes I wear right now is like what other patients wear. As the breeze of the wind pass through me, it makes my long wavy ash grey hair flatter and sway along with the wind. The longer I stare at my reflection, the deeper I felt while looking at the reflection of my eyes. ‘Eyes that as deep as the night sky.’
Dahil dito, naalala ko naman ang imahing pumasok sa utak ko noong nakaraang araw. Mga matang kasing lalim ng gabi tulad ng mayroon ako. Tinignan ko sa huling beses ang aking repleksyon bago nagpatuloy sa paglalakad. Then I realize that that’s the first time I saw my face after waking up from being comatose, though I can’t appreciate it no matter how I look because it doesn’t matter to me anymore.
Habang naglalakad, napagpasyahan kong umupo muna sa malapit na bench, pagkaupo ko ay tinignan ko ang kalangitan. Dahil sa sinag ng araw, itinaas ko ang aking kaliwamg kamay para harangan nito ang liwanag. As I raised my hand, I notice how pale my hand is, I stare at it for a moment before I decided to put my hands down and close my eyes to feel the heat of the sun.
