Preston leaned back in his seat while another student presented her idea about global warming. His hand hurt from both writing and from the bitch presenting when she slammed his locker on his hand. Preston looked down and noticed a crumpled up piece of paper next to his desk. He looked around and saw Mitch swiping a finger across his neck and shaking his head. Preston raised an eyebrow at his friend. It took a moment but he realized the motion wasn't for him. He looked over at Tyler who was smirking and showing off his camera. Preston picked up the paper on the floor before the presenter could call him out on it.
The paper read:
You better delete those!!! DX
Why
Jason's gonna be pissed
He already was. Plus I got almost 500 bucks off him.
He's not a whore like your trying to get off with
Really? Did you see the one with the horse?
He was drunk off his ass! He didn't know what he was doing
What ever
Delete them!

Preston looked around at the two. Mitch was glaring at him and Tyler was trying to suppress a laugh.
"What's wrong with Jason." Preston tried to mouth at Mitch.
"What?" He mouthed back.
"Later!" Preston whisper yelled crumpling the paper back into a ball. Mitch just nodded but Preston wasn't sure if he was sure what he said.
"Preston! Are you paying attention?" The presenter yelled.
"Yes." Preston said trying to mirror everyone in the class' emotionless faces. She nodded and got back to drawing what looked like a sun with a smily face. Preston started drawing ugly pictures of flowers and awkwardly shaped dogs.
The bell rang after about fifteen minutes. Preston managed to catch up to Mitch near his locker.
"Mitch, can you please tell me what's wrong with Jason?" Mitch turned to face him and looked like he wasn't going to say anything.
"It's nothing. Just Tyler being an asshole."
"How? C'mon Mitch Jason's like a better brother to me."
"Preston it's really nothing."
"I know Jason rejected Tyler last year so if it involves those two it can't be good! Tell me!"
"Preston. You can't protect him." Mitch half growled getting frustrated with Preston's consistancy.
"Just tell me!"
"What's going on here?" Mitch was half cut off by Robert who was walking towards the two looking quite pleased with himself and Jason trailing behind him carrying Roberts things.
"Jason! What's going on between you and Tyler?" Preston demanded running up to Jason.
"Nothing."
"What's this?" Goddamn Preston's constant questioning. Preston pushed Jason's jacket that was half covering his neck. There was a bloodstained wrap around it. Preston started to shake out of feeling useless and uninvolved.
"Why won't anyone tell me what's going on?!" His voice became shaky and he covered his face. Robert gave Preston a half hug while making sure Jason kept quiet.
"It's none of your business." Robert said even though it had everything to do with Preston.
