"R-rob. Where a-am I?" Preston shook violently against his bounds and his eyes started tearing up.

"I don't have time for feelings that's all." Robert replied hiding his guilt. He heard his boss snicker and start filming. Preston tried to back away from Robert and the action hurt. It hurt a lot more than it should.

"Hey Rob. Something's poking me through your jacket." Preston said giving a half assed smirk making Robert smirk. He'll ask Preston how he knew later. Robert quickly grabbed his gun out of his jacket and pointed it at his boss and blocking Preston from any rage of fire.

"Go fuck yourself." Robert said with a shit eating grin. Preston brought his knees to his chest and tried his best to enjoy the show. Robert hardly hesitated but he did hesitate before shooting his boss.
His boss dropped his camera and like a maniac started laughing as blood poured out of the wound staining his clothes and staining the carpet. The laughter fell silent and his boss fell to ground with a sickening smile plastered on his dead face.

"You hesitated." Preston said. His eyes were dry and the way he looked at Robert with disappointment made Robert confused.

"And you wouldn't?" Preston coughed and offered a sweet innocent smile for a response.

"Can you untie me? I want to go home." Preston's voice shook and he looked down unblinking. When he looked up again he had tears in his eyes. "Please?" His voice jumped an octave higher.
It took almost a half an hour but Robert got the bounds off Preston. He winced when he saw Preston's new wounds from the rope. He attempted to give Preston a general hug but was forcefully pushed back.

"Can you please just call Jason?" Preston said sounding a bit irritated. He hugged himself showing Robert he didn't want him to come any closer. Robert just nodded afraid to speak to this 'new side' Preston was showing.

Robert walked out of the room and dialed Jason's number feeling envious of him.

"Hello? Rob? Is Preston okay?" Jason answered panicked.

"Ya no thanks to you. Come pick him up we'll meet at a coffee shop." Robert didn't care how long it took to find which coffee shop but he was tired and his wanted coffee. He also wanted to get to know this other side of Preston. The not so innocent side.

"But there are like 20 coffee shops around here! Which one? Where's Preston?" Robert grit his teeth at the last question.

"I don't care you find us! You didn't do jack shit! And Preston is-" Robert was cut off by a three gun shots firing. And Jason took no time responding to it.

"What the hell is going on?!" He demanded. Robert hung up and ran back into the boss's room. Preston stood with a gun in his hands and three armed men were dead on the floor.
When Preston heard the door open he quickly got out of his confident stance and into more frightened one.

"I hesitated." He said looking over at Robert though it sounded like he was trying to convince himself more than Robert. Robert decided to play along. How could he miss this?

"Are you okay Preston? I called Jason he's meeting us at the nearest coffee shop." Preston nodded and dropped the gun. When he did Robert's stomach did a flip when he noticed it was his own gun. He reached into his pocket and found it gone. 'Sneaky little bitch.' Robert smirked.

"And how do you explain that?" Robert pointed to the gun.

"Umm." Preston started coughing and gave a weary smile. "I'm kind of thirsty. Can we get something to drink?"
Robert nodded and walked up to Preston trying to take one of his hands. Preston accepted and took Robert's hand and they walked side by side.

"Don't tell anyone." Preston broke the silence when they walked into the literally empty coffee shop.

"What?" Robert slung his arm over Preston's shoulders making him flinch slightly probably because of his bruises and cuts.

"That I shot someone." He whispered back as they walked to the counter. Preston looked down when tears started to fill his eyes realizing his arms weren't covered and his bruises and cuts were shown to the world. The guy at the counter took one look at Preston's arms and started glaring at Robert. Robert returned the favor.

"And what would you want?" He changed his voice into a much lighter tone and softened his gaze when he looked to Preston.

"Umm. I'll just have water." He said looking down. Robert wasn't sure if he was faking but he didn't care Preston looked adorable.

"Are you sure? Order anything it's on the house." The guy at the count said to fast. Robert pulled Preston closer hitting multiple bruises making Preston hiss.

"Fuck off man just get him water." The guy looked at him and he looked like he wanted to strangle him.

"No one should treat someone like that!" He yelled pointing at Preston. "No matter what gender you bastard."
Robert rolled his eyes not wanting to explain anything.

"Can I just have a coffee?" He said and started dragging Preston to a table by the window.

"I will call the police for domestic abuse." The guy warned.

"Then do it." Robert knew he was pushing it but he didn't care. The police in the city knew him. They took him off most wanted because he took down most of their officers. When they sat down Robert could hear the guy punching in the numbers at the phone while attempting to pour water at the same time.

"Oh it looks like Jason's here." Preston said standing up. He walked to the counter and thanked the guy for the water and left with out saying goodbye. Robert watched as Preston practically ran into Jason's arms eye wet with tears. Again.

"The police will be here soon." The guy warned placing a cold coffee on the table.

"No they won't. They know me too well." He looked at the coffee then back at the boy.

"What?"

"A dollar fifty please." He said holding out his hand. Robert payed the money then left not wanting to listen to the other's nagging and remarks.
