Yn's POV:

Quickly enough we reached the car, my hand still intertwined with stiles' as he opened the back door of the car and grabbed a grey hoodie before handing it to me.

I looked up to him in confusion as I let go of his hand.

"put it on, it's freezing" he smiled.

I nodded my head before whispering a quick thank you and walking up to the car door that stiles opened quickly for me.

"Such a gentleman." I laughed before climbing into the car.

Stiles soon followed and began to drive.

Bored, I played with the strings that hung loosely from the hood that was rested comfortably on the back of my neck and my shoulders.

Stiles looked over to me before turning back to face the road, "yn, there's a tape next to you, put it in the radio for me?"

I searched next to me to find a tape, which I assumed was the one that he was talking about, placing it into the radio and pressing play.

Stiles quickly turned it up, keeping his right hand on the steering wheel and placing the other on mine which rested in the middle, beside the empty cup holder.

I looked over to him, a little surprised before turning out to face the window beside me.

The pack had always been suspicious that something was going on between me and stiles but we had both assured them that they were very wrong.

Stiles was one of the first people I spoke to when I moved to beacon hills, along with Lydia and Allison, meaning we became best friends almost instantly.

We both knew how to help one another calm down and both knew about the others past but it pained me to keep one secret from him.

Something I hoped would stay uncovered, the reason I had moved from mystic falls in the first place.

Yet I had a feeling they would soon discover what it was, what it was.

What I was.

I stared at the trees that flew past my window before focusing on the music that was playing.

After a moment, I realised what song was playing causing me to spin my head towards stiles who was already smiling as he watched me from the side.

"You remembered!" I practically shouted as stiles started to laugh, "of course I did" he responded.

Over a year ago I told him that this was my favourite song, not expecting him to remember for longer than a week, if that.

I placed my head back as I closed my eyes, tapping my foot to the rest of the song while stiles quietly hummed to the tune.
