Yn's POV:

Slowly, I opened my eyes and placed my arms behind me on the desk, lifting myself up while leaning on my elbows for support.

The world around me spun rapidly as I tilted my head attempting to subdue the dizziness that altered my vision.

My eyes wandered, looking around the classroom before glancing at the pack, Klaus and finally Void (who was stood in the corner of the room, watching Klaus furiously).

When he finally looked away from Klaus and glanced at me, for a short moment, it looked almost as though he was worried or perhaps concerned for me or maybe it was just the way the moonlight reflected off of his eyes.

I caught a glimpse of fear in his eye as he looked at my wound, that was now beginning to heal, yet not a moment after, it was long gone and his eyes returned to their usually emptiness.

I tilted my head back only to feel a hand resting at the back of it, playing with my hair, twirling it into all types of patterns and carefully putting a few strands into a small braid, something I had taught Klaus to do many years ago.

The pack turned their heads to face me, still not saying anything to interrupt the silence that rested in the air.

An ice cold gust of wind swept past me, caressing my leg along it's journey, sending a shiver through my body and causing my teeth to chatter.

I quickly wrapped my arm around myself in a pathetic attempt at warming myself up.

As soon as stiles noticed this, he spoke up, "we can go to my place. it's warmer there and she can sleep there"

Clearly annoyed by stiles' suggestion, Klaus quickly stated that I would be staying with him and his family, causing me to sit up and turn my head to face him and correct his ill manners, "Nik, I'm not isolating myself from the pack because you're too scared of me getting hurt. Call Damon and let him know the pack will be staying with him and stefan for a while, he'll understand."

Klaus looked at me silently for a moment before carefully moving his hand away from me and exiting the room, muttering a short "You know I wont" which I faintly heard, rolling my eyes at his remark.

The pack turned to face void who had been silently staring at me the entire time I spoke.

As he noticed, void looked at each one of them and nodded his head towards the door, trying to signal that he wanted to talk to me alone.

Despite being hesitant, the pack did as he asked, not without glancing at me to check if I was fine with the situation at hand first.

Lydia was the first to leave, Allison trailing behind her and Scott just behind her.

Stiles however seemed uneasy with the thought of me being alone in a room with void.

He advanced towards me and whispered to me "if he hurts you-"

"stiles. He won't." I interrupted him briefly, placing my hand on his cheek and quickly ruffling his hair to reassure him before signalling for him to leave.

He paused abruptly then glared back at void before smiling softly at me and leaving the room to join the pack outside.

"Thanks again. For you know saving my life and all." I smiled, slightly blushing at the thought of void saving me.

Void looked at me, before speaking up, "you and Klaus?"

He looked at me, staring directly into my eyes before looking down to where my wound was previously.

To anyone else peering in on our conversation, they would've believed he was perfectly fine but deep down I knew something was wrong.

He seemed hurt, upset and shocked yet there wasn't a glimpse of anger in his eyes when he looked at me.

Yet.

It seemed that the thought that was planted into his brain was killing him like an itch you can't scratch or a simple answer you can't remember.

He continued to stare at me expectantly, desperately waiting for an answer. I looked at him in pure shock, "who the hell told you that?!" I unintentionally laughed, something that made void grow noticeably angrier.

He stepped closer to the table I sat on placing one of his hands on either side of me and leaning closer to my face before whispering through gritted teeth, "little dove, you're mine you know that?"

In horror, I slid backwards from him and began to shake, a single, solitary tear fell from my eyes as I stared into void's empty eyes.

However this time there was no emotion, no sadness, no sympathy, nothing but rage.

"DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT?!" he shouted, slamming his hand on the table as I shook in fear.

Suddenly, I heard the door bang open and the pack sprinted in, being led by Klaus whose eyes were now glowing a bright amber colour, fangs showing behind his ruby lips.

Klaus quickly ran towards void shouting, before he was stopped by Allison and Lydia, "yn needs you" Lydia whispered to him causing him to glance over at me as I shook and raised my knees to my face.

I wrapped my arms around my knees as I put my head down, refusing to move.

"I am helping" Klaus replied, walking towards scott.

Void soon disappeared as Scott dragged him away from my shaking figure with the help of klaus.

I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, pulling me in.

As I looked, I saw stiles softly smiling at me in an attempt to comfort me.

Without a moment's hesitation, I jumped from the table and threw myself towards him, wrapping my arms around his neck as he held me close while I shook softly into his shoulder.

Soon enough, my tears stopped flowing and my shaking slowed as I heard stiles softly hum to me, twiddling my hair between his fingers.

He knew exactly what to do to calm me down quickly.

"Yn. I'm gonna take you home okay?" He whispered softly, making sure he wouldn't startle me.

I nodded, turning to Klaus to tell him, "Klaus, stiles is taking me home."

Instantly, he spun around leaving Scott to place some tape on void's mouth and secure the ropes that tightly held him to the chair.

The very sight of it, brought me flashbacks of earlier that day, making me tremble slightly.

Klaus, after seeing my state, nodded and turned to stiles who had already grabbed my hand to relax me, "you better take care of her, kid. If she gets hurt, I will hunt you down. "

Stiles nodded before looking at me and softly squeezing my hand, "let's go" I nodded my head quickly to Klaus, assuring him I was okay before walking to stiles' car, still clinging to his hand.
