Twenty-Five: A welcoming feeling

Xiao folds the shirt, lost in his thoughts.

He gotten a phone call from his mother. Asking to visit him.

He runs his hand through his hair, listening to the shower running.
Venti had dyed his hair, wasnt the best of his works, but it was decent.

He sighs again, he told his mom he'll think about it. He didnt wanna see her. Last time they saw they got into an argument. She tried to drag him back to Liyue. It didnt work.

Xiao throws his hands up in the air, turning away from his mom.

"You have no reason to stay!" She says, and walks to Xiao, "I have reasons to stay! My sister-"

"Is practically dead!"

"She is alive, and I am staying until she wakes up! I have a job, I have my art to help, I work in a great tattoo parlour! I have a steady life! This is all I need! I know you want me close, but I am 21!" He yells, "Your sister wouldn't care, Atalus. She wouldnt care if you stayed or not."

"I'm staying. You literally cannot change my mind. I spent nineteen years living with you guys. I dont need to spend more time with you!" He opens the front door, walking out slamming it behind him, making the hotel walls shake.

Xiao snaps out of the thoughts as he feels arms around his waist, "You okay?" His voice is muffled against Xiao's back, "Mhm. I'm fine. Just thinking. My mom called me." He says, and that immediately catches Venti's attention, "Oh, really?"
Xiao nods, "She wants to visit me. I dont wanna see her considering last I did it was a very large argument. I left her in the hotel alone. It was shitty of me. But...She said said some shitty things to me."

Venti hums, placing a soft kiss on Xiao's shoulder.

Xiao turns around and hugs him, hands on his waist, "I love you." He whispers against Venti's neck, placing a soft kiss there, "I love you too, my darling."

Hiii so sorry for not posting...I will be taking another break for a bit...I have recieved news that one of my favorite streamers has recently passed away asn it has hurt me severely to learn rhis. I have no words for it. Im so sjocked at the situiation he was only 23. Technoblade never dies...right...? He was so younger...Man fuck cancer fuck it...
