Chapter 18

Luna's POV

I had just woken up an hour ago when there was a knock a the door. I opened it to see a man standing in robes. "Yes?" I asked. "Are you Mrs. Skywalker?" He asked. "Who's asking?" I asked. "My master sent me to speak with you." He said. I nodded "Come in." I said. He bowed and walked into my house. "Have a seat." I said and gestured to the couch. He nodded and sat down. "Would you like some coffee?" I asked. "No thank you ma'am I just have a message from Master Sparks." He said. "Sparks is your master?" I asked. He nodded. I sat across from him on the other couch. "She told me Padawan Colleen Skywalker has been kidnapped." I froze. Luke seemed to sense my anger and sadness because he came running into the room. "What's wrong? Who are you?" He asked me then turned to Spark's padawan. "This is Master Spark's Padawan. And.... Colleen.... H-h-has b-b-been kidnapped." I said in between sobs. "What are you so mad about?" The padawan asked me. "How come Sparks couldn't come and tell me herself! How come she sent a young boy to tell me!?" I shouted standing up. "My master told me she didn't have enough courage." He said. "What is the order doing about my daughters kidnapping?" I asked anger rising in my voice. "They said we cant do anything except hope for the best." He said. Now Luke was angry. "Hope for the best! That's our daughter out there! What about her master!?" I interrupted him. "Wasn't Sparks supposed to train Colleen?" I asked. The padawan tensed up. "The thing is Colleen disappeared months ago 3 months to be exact. Since then I've been Spark's padawan." He said. I didn't want to force choke this child. "Get out." I said. "What?" He asked. "Get out!" I shouted. I used the force and threw a vase across the room. He jumped up and sprinted out the front door. "Tell the order if they don't find my daughter their going to wish they never met me!" I shouted after him. He nodded and took off in his speeder.

I heard Ben crying. I ran to his room. "Shhhh did we wake you?" I asked. He stretched out his arms for me to pick him up. "Where's sissy?" He asked. "I don't know." I said. Ben looked confused. My com went off. I opened it and saw Sparks. "You cant just threaten the order like that!" She shouted. "They gave up on my daughter." I said calmly not wanting to make Ben cry. "I cant believe you would doubt the order." She said. "I cant believe you replaced my daughter! Your my step-sister and my former padawan! That makes you her family! Your her aunt! You just gave up on her!" I shouted. "Luna listen to me." She said. "No! You listen to me! I gave my daughter to the Jedi! You were responsible for her! And you just let her go! She's only 3!" I shouted. "Luna." Sparks started to say but I crushed the com in my hand.

I stormed out to my speeder and buckled Ben up. "What are you doing?" Luke asked. "I'm dropping Ben off at Leia and Han's then I will go speak to the order." I said through clenched teeth. "You cant." He said. "Why not?" I asked. "Leia and Han are on vacation. Remember?" I slapped my forehead. "Winter can watch him." I said. "No she's visiting her family." He said. "Then I guess he's coming with me." I said. "Us." Luke corrected. I nodded.

While we were passing Leia and Han's house I saw a ship docked there. I looked over at Luke who shared the same confused expression as I did. I drove closer and heard Luke mumble something "The Lady Luck." I landed and walked into the house which was unlocked. Who leaves their door unlocked? I saw a man sitting at the table with a bottle of wine in his hands. Ben walked right over to him. I pulled out my lightsaber. "Get back over here Ben." I said but he ignored me. "Ben!" I shouted and he turned towards me. "Get over here!" I shouted. He came walking over. "Hey kid." The man said looking at Luke. "Hello Lando." Luke said. Lando walked over to me. My saber was still drawn. I looked over at Luke who nodded. I deactivated my saber and clipped it back to my belt.

"Lando this is Luna." Luke said. "Hello Luna. I'm Lando Calrissian." He said. I extended my hand thinking he would shake it but instead kissed the back of it. I pulled away. I didn't even want to shake his hand! Instead he kissed it! Barf! I mean he wasn't ugly or anything he seemed nice but not my type. "I see your parents didn't teach you manners." He said. "My father did except his punishment was a whip to the back." I said. Luke looked over at me. "What's a whip?" Ben asked. "Pretend you didn't hear that." I said. Ben nodded. "I'm sorry." Lando said. "I don't care he's. Ben cover your ears." I said and Ben covered them up. "He's dead. I killed him." I said. "So Calrissian what brings you here?" Luke asked. "I was going to ask you the same thing Skywalker." He said. "And what is this lovely young lady doing with you she's way out of your league." He added. "I'm his wife." I said. "Oh." Lando said. "This is our son Ben." Luke said. "I cant believe you even had a child!" Lando said. "We have two." I said. "Well where's the other one?" Lando asked. "She's at the temple." Luke said obviously not wanting to tell Lando what happened to Colleen. "Well we must be going. I really cant wait to visit her." I said. "May I come along? I've always wanted to see a temple." Lando said. Luke nodded and I sighed. Lando sat in the while Luke and I sat in the front.

We arrived at the temple. I walked over to Ben and unbuckled him then walked towards the meeting room. I left Ben with Luke and Lando. I kicked down the door to the meeting room. "Was that necessary?" A man asked. "How could you not look for my daughter!?" I shouted. "Ma'am please calm down." He said. "I will not! You gave up on her! How could you!?" I shouted. The girl from my last time here spoke up "Darth Vader took her." (Yea yea I know he should be dead but who would take her a nerf herder?) I felt Luke's presence behind me. "Vader?" He asked. The padawan nodded as did everyone else in the circle.
