Many Secrets to Hide

Chapter 3

Luna's POV

        I sat down across from Luke trying to hide my feelings. I still was using Force-Blockage. Luke stared at me trying to read my emotions. "Luke your staring at me." I said. I only said it to see his reaction. I saw a slight blush come across his cheeks and giggled tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. Leia and Han watched us. "So Luke do you like your new girlfriend?" Han asked smirking. "What!?" Luke said. "Luna, your girlfriend." Han said. "She's not my girlfriend. We're just friends." He said. That stung but I didnt let it show. "What do you think Luna?" Han asked me. "We're just friends and that's all we will ever be." I said. I sensed Luke felt hurt just like I was but since I was using Force-Blockage he couldnt sense it. I gave him a concerned look. "What?" He asked. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Nothing why?" He asked. I closed m eyes and called out to him 'I sensed you felt hurt.' 'It's nothing I was just thinking of my mother.' I nodded. Han and Leia were confused but didn't say anything.

        Later that day we got attacked. I was panicking I have never been in a situation like this before! They told me to carry people off the battle field but I said I wanted to fight. They sent me out into battle and now I am fighting the troopers. I took out my saber letting its white blade glow and deflected the shoots back at the troopers. We won but we had to leave. I met up with Han, Luke, and Leia on Hans ship. When I walked up the ramp a furry arm grabbed me holding my arms behind my back."Let go of me!" I yelled. Everyone came running out. "Chewie let go of her, she's a friend." Chewie let go of me and I faced him. A wookie? "Hi, I've never met a wookie before." I said and extended my hand and he shook it. "Where were you I thought you were helping the wounded soilders." Leia said. "No, I was out fighting." I said. "Your bleeding." Luke said. I looked at my arm and noticed I was. I hadnt even felt it. "I'm fine." I said. Leia got bandages and wrapped my arm. "I said I was fine. I've been through worse." I said gesturing to my back. "I know but I dont want it to get infected." Leia said. "You worry to much." I said and hopped off the table.

        Later that night I bumped into Luke in the hall and fell backwards and hit my head on the door. "Ow" I said rubbing my head. "Are you okay?" He asked helping me up. I nodded. "Luke, did you mean it when you said we were just friends." He nodded. "Did you mean it when you said that's all we'll ever be?" I shook my head and walked away. Luke stood there in the hallway thinking. I was in my room and layed down and cryed silently into my pillow. I stayed up all night thinking and thinking. My eyes were red and they hurt because I didnt sleep and spent most of the night crying. There was a knock at the door. "What?" I said. "It's time to eat." Leia said. "I'm not hungry, I'll eat something later." I said and she walked away to eat breakfast.

Luke's POV

        "Where's Luna?" Han asked. "In her room, she said she wasn't hungry." Leia said. I sensed she was hurting and was in pain. I wonder why? Last night in the hall she said she didnt mean what she said, and I said I did. I'm so stupid! She had the courage and I didnt! Now I hurt her! I'm so stupid! "Luke?" Leia said snapping her fingers in front of my face. "What?" I asked. "Do you know why Luna wont come out of her room?" She asked. "I have an idea." I said. "What?" Leia asked. "I can't say. It's personal." I said. Suddenly Luna walked into the kitchen with bloodshot red eyes. She looked at me then looked away. I lowered my head and stared at the table. "How did you sleep?" Leia asked. "I got none. None at all." Luna said. "Why were you up all night?" Han asked. "Personal problems I do not wish to discuss." She said with slight annoyance and anger in her voice. "I'm so-" I started to say but was cut off. "Save it Luke! I dont need your sympathy!" Luna yelled at me. "I didnt mean it" I said. "Your just saying that! I dont need your pity!" She stormed out of the room. "What did you do kid?" Han asked me. "I made a mistake." I said lowering my head.

Luna's POV

        I dont need Luke's sympathy! I'm not a little kid anymore! I'm 19 almost 20! I sensed Luke walking behind me. "Leave me alone!" I said. "I'm sorry Luna, I didnt mean it." Luke said. "That's exactly what my dad said! He said he didnt mean it and then he would hurt me again! But I'm not little and naive anymore!" I yelled tears threatening to escape. No! Dont cry over him! I spent the rest of the day in my room until I walked out to get a drink and use the bathroom. On my way to get a drink Luke was walking behind me. "I told you to leave me alone." I said as calmly as possible. "I will leave me alone if you just listen to me and if you still hate me then I promise to never speak to you again." He said. "Okay." I said. I spun around and his lips pressed against mine. He was kissing me! I decided to kiss him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he wrapped his around my waist pulling me closer. I saw two figures entering the kitchen but didnt pull away. I didnt care. I was finally happy! "Ahem." I heard Han say and I raised my index finger telling him to give us a minute. He just stood there and Luke and I pulled away. "So do you hate me?" Luke asked with a smile. I smiled back and punched him playfully in the arm. "Is this what you were upset about earlier? That someone didnt love you back?" Han asked. I nodded. "Seriously?" Han asked laughing. "You did the same thing with Leia. You got all upset." Luke said. I laughed. "Wow! I have the right, because I'm a girl. A fragile girl." I said. Luke smiled and Han glared at me.

        I just let someone in my life! This is going to end horribly! My father's words came to my mind. "Don't tell anyone or I'll kill them. Trust me I will find out! Where ever you are!" I froze and everyone stared at me. "Are you okay?" Luke asked putting his arm around me. "Get away from me!" I yelled pushing his arm away. I had to make them hate me. "What's wrong." Leia asked taking a step towards me. "I hate you all! Stay away!" I yelled and ran down the hall and into my room. Everyone felt hurt. especially Luke. I felt horrible but I couldnt let father kill them. I sobbed letting my gaurd down. My father called out to me. "I see you have made friends. And you told them the secret. Oh and look you have a boyfriend now. They will all die! Unless you convince them that I didnt do anything wrong and you did it to youself." "I will father." I said back to him.

        The next morning I woke up bright and early and made breakfast for everyone. They were blueberry pancakes. Everyone came into the kitchen not looking at me and didnt even touch the breakfast I made. "I have something to tell you guys, I was lying when I said my father whipped me and abused my mother and I." They still didn't look up. "I tried to kill myself many times, and one day my mother tried to stop me and I killed her. I told you my father did so you wouldn't think I was a monster." They all looked up. "How could you lie to us!?" Luke yelled. I stood firm. "I didnt want you guys to treat me differently." I said. "We trusted you with our lives!" Luke yelled at me again. "I know you did." I said lowering my head. Leia came over and hugged me. "Was killing you mother an accident." I was about to say yes but my father called out to me "Say no." I hesitated but said "No." They stared at me. Awhile ago I took my father's red lightsaber so he couldnt hurt anyone and it was attached to my belt. I walked away and they followed me. I closed the door to my room. "Come talk to us!" Leia said. I walked over to my mirror and put in yellow contacts and gripped my father's lightsaber in my hand. I opened the door and they stood in shock. "Show me your lightsaber." Leia said. I activated it and it was red. Now they were even more shocked. 'Good now your friends won't die.' My father said. 'Thank you father.' Then I heard his voice out loud. "But you will!" He yelled. He jumped through the door frame with a blue lightsaber. He's acting good! Luke helped my father fight me.

        "Luke I lyed about lying." I said to him. "Prove it!" He yelled. "I would but I'm in a tight situation here!" Han shot my father in the leg and he collasped. I picked up the saber. "This is my mother's see her name is engraved to the bottom." I pointed to the bottom which said Angel. I pulled out my contacts and grabbed my saber. "I was wearing contact and using his saber." "Why did you tell us you killed your mother?" Luke asked as Han held down my father. "He said if I didnt he would kill you. I can't deal with more deaths. Except his!" I grabbed my blaster and shot my father. Now my suffering is over.
