Chapter 6

Luna's POV

        "Wake up Sparks, training starts in 5 minutes. Meet me on the top of the ship. If you need help ask Luke." I said and walked down the ramp and climbed to the top. I started meditating. "Master?" It was Sparks. "I'm up here Sparks." I called. "How do I get up there?" She asked. "Look at it from a different angle." I said. I walked to the edge and watched. She grabbed on to every ledge and pole and finally got up. "I did it!" She exclaimed. "Good job, now-" "Can I have my own lightsaber?" She asked. "No, your not ready." "When will I be ready?" She asked. "Patience my young Padawan." I said. "We are going to medidtate and learn more about the Force." I said sitting down. "But that sounds boring." She said. "It may be but meditating is very important to a Jedi." I said. "Now sit." She did as I said. "Ummmmm." She started humming. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Meditating like the kids at school do." She said. "When you medidtate you clear your mind, you dont make a sound. Now try again." She tried again doing better this time. "Your a little un focused." I said. "Well it's hard to be focused when Luke is staring at me." She said. I turned and saw Luke behind her. "Luke, what are you doing?" "Well I came to watch you guys train but apparently I'm distracting." He said with a smirk. "Go, now." I said. He nodded and walked away.

        After training I went in and got something to eat. "Luke, can I see your lightsaber?" Sparks asked. He nodded and handed it to her. She traced the lines with her finger. "Can you show me how it works?" She asked. "Sure." He said. He held her wrists and activated the lightsaber. He moved it around slowly. "Cool." She said. He deactivated it and clipped in to his belt. "Thank you." She said with a huge smile on her face. "Look's like someone likes Luke." I said. "What? No she doesnt." Luke said. "Seriously did you see the way she looked at you and smiled. She totally likes you." I said with a smile on my face. "What do I do?" He asked. "Nothing, unless you like her back." I said. "I'm 6 years older than her. Plus I like you." He said. "Aww look at the two love birds." Han said. "Shut it or I'll be the next one to shoot you." I said and walked out of the room and to mine/Sparks. She was lying on her bed staring at the ceiling. "Hey Sparks whats on your mind?" I asked. "Okay I need advice." "Okay." "So I have this friend and she likes this guy 6 years older than her, and she doesnt know what to do." "Well if I were the girl I would wait and see if the guy does anything. I'm guessing she's your age so when I was your age that's what I would do. But I remember the last time I liked someone he said to one of his friends that we were just friends and I said we would be nothing more than that. Then we ran into each other and I asked him if he meant it and he said yes and he asked me if I meant it, and I said no. But we're still friends." I said with a smile. "You could've just told me the first part, I didnt need to hear a whole story." She said. "I know but I like stories." I said. "Well you should get some sleep." I said. She nodded and I left.

        I walked back out into the kitchen where Luke was. "Hi." I said and gave him a hug. "Hi." He said and hugged me back and kissed the top of my head. I grabbed his hand and we walked to his room. I layed on the bed and he layed on the floor. "How come you have a double bed and I have a single?" I asked. "I'm special." He said. I fell asleep.

"Hello Luna." It was my father holding a whip. "You were naughty last night. Time for your beating." I walked to the wall and put on my chains. I heard the whip crack and it slashed my back. I screamed out in pain. "Please stop!" I yelled. "Now you get an extra hour, what did I tell you about talking back." He said. He just kept whipping and whipping. It was so painful! "Please stop! Stop!" I was crying. I screamed again.

        I shot up everyone was staring at me. I burst into tears. "Are you okay?" Leia asked. I nodded. "It was just a dream." a horrible painful dream. "What was it about?" Sparks asked. "My father and how he would chain me to the walls and whip me." I said trying not to show my fear but I was trembling. "But I'm okay go back to sleep." They nodded and left the room. "Luke?" I whispered. He looked up at me. "Can you come up here I'm scared." I said. I said. He nodded and layed down next to me awkwardly. I grabbed his arm and put it around me and snuggled into his chest. I thought about how we first met. I hated him and didnt trust him and now we're in the same bed. I loved him but does he love me? I know he likes me but does he love me? I worry to much.

        When I woke up Luke wasnt there so I got up and got dressed. I walked outside and sat on the ramp staring at the clouds. "Master?" "Yes Sparks." "Are we going to train?" She asked. "Oh yeah." I stood up and grabbed a helmet that made it so she couldnt see. "Luke? May I borrow your lightsaber for Sparks. She seemed to like yours." He nodded and handed me it. "Today we're going to do lightsaber training. You're going to put this helmet on and block the blaster shots." She nodded and put on the helmet and activated the lightsaber. "Ready?" I asked. She nodded and I started shooting. She blocked and dodged almost all of them I shot and her armour on her arm and she didnt see it coming but since it didnt hit her skin she was fine.

"I have an announcement." Luke said grabbing everyone's attention. "I have decided to leave I have important things to attend to." He said. My heart shattered, he was leaving? But I didnt get to tell him I love him. "Good Luck." I said and Sparks ran and gave him a hug. "Do you have to go?" She asked. "Sadly I do." He said. He grabbed a bag and walked off the ship. It felt like someone reached inside of me ripped my heart out and stabbed it a million times. I waved goodbye and he got in his X-Wing and took off. "Well, can you guys drop Sparks and I off on Naboo. I think from now on we will train there." I said. Han nodded and we jumped into Hyperspace. "Goodbye Leia I'm going to miss you." I said. "Me too." She said. "Bye Han." I said and walked down the ramp away. We decided to stay at a nice wooden house near a lake. We plan on staying here for 3 years. These are going to be the longest 3 years of my life.
