I glanced away from my blood soaked hands and the cloth that was once my shirt. The fabric was so full of Toothiana's blood, it struggled to soak up more liquid and started dripping.

Looking over my shoulder, I saw North, Sandy, Bunny and Jack were all attacking the nightmares and Pitch ruthlessly.

'They're gonna get 'emselves killed' I mutter to myself.

Wait! Where did Carl go? Oh, how typical of him to run off and not face the aftermath of his brutal actions. He did it when I was five and he's done it again. I see he hasn't changed one bit.

Where are all of these extra nightmares coming from? There are so many! Jack is fighting the best he can, but I can see his power is depleting fast. He can't keep up with this brutal attack which has moved all the way up to the other end of the road.

Why arn't the dark horses attacking me? There is not a single nightmare anywhere near me and Tooth.

Even if I called out for help, no one would hear me because my friends were so far away, and also the amount of yelling and explosions in the air was deafening.

It's my falt the nightmares have gotten so strong. Pitch is using me! My emotions! My weakness!

I need to calm down and focus on the task at hand. I need to keep Tooth awake and alive.

Right, where the hell is Bunny when you need him!

It was as if he could read my mind because the next moment a tunnel opened and he jumped out, racing to my side.

I glanced up at him and noticed he not only was staring at my glasses and all of the blood that my arms, face, bare stomach and bra were soaked in. But he was also looking at the very clear and large scar on my back. He took less then a second to glimpse at it before turning his attention to Tooth's dieing body. It was such a fast glance, I'm unsure if he actually saw it or not.

'She's still alive but she won't be for much longa if you don't do somethin now!' I urge him while standing up.

'Toothiana, sweetheart, I know you're in a lot of pain, but I need you to stay with me, keep ya eyes open. You'll be fine, just stay awake and I'll be able to get ya some help.' He spoke softly while calming her down and gently scooping her out of the blood puddle that formed on the ground beneath her.

'B-B-Bunny I was afraid I wouldn't be able to see you before.... ah, Bunny, I'm so cold and tired.' She whimpered as pain filled tears fell from her eyes.

She was shaking and it wasn't entirely because of excessive amount of blood that was literally poring out of her body. It was also because she was petrified and in agonising pain.

She's dieing and there's nothing I can do to help. I've done all I can and have kept her alive long enough for Bunny to either do something that will magically save her or... say his goodbyes.

Why do I feel so helpless!? Why is Tooth being so brave?!

'Bunny, please don't cry. I can't stand to see you cry.' Tooth mumbled in the strongest tone of voice she could muster but eventually it faltered and broke into a quivering, stuttering mess.

'Shh, hon, don't speak, save your strength.' He replied while attempting to stand with her in his arms, but the extent of her injures forced him to remain where he was. He can't lift her or take her anywhere without her hemorrhaging and bleeding to death.
