Y/N POV

You knew Jimin was hurting just as much as you were, so you did everything possible to pull yourself together.

"Jimin?"

"Yes, my dear?"

"I want to see our child."

"The doctors kept her if you want to see her."

You looked into his eyes, your hand resting gently on his cheek, wiping his tears away.

"I want to see our children."

"Alright, I'll let the nurse know."

He walked out of the room, his boots echoing across the room. The door closed gently behind him, leaving you to think of everything you did wrong.

Maybe she would've made it if I had cared better for myself.

The door opened, revealing Jimin and a woman in scrubs following behind him. Quickly wiping away your stray tears, you pushed yourself up, eagerly waiting to see your baby girl.

"Hello, Mrs. Park; how are you feeling?" the nurse asked.

"I want to see my daughter."

"Of course, my tech is grabbing her now. But I want you to be prepared, she won't look like a normal baby, and I want you to be prepared for that."

"I want to see my daughter," you answered, pushing yourself up more.

Jimin carefully wrapped his hand around your arm, helping you get into a better sitting position.

"Of course, I just want you to know she is beautiful, and I hope this brings you some peace."

The door opened, and the tech walked in with a white blanket wrapped around your daughter's body. She carefully placed the baby in your arms, your daughter's face covered by the blanket.

Gently lifting the blanket, you looked at your baby girl. A simple bow had been placed on her head, and they had cleaned her up so she looked peaceful.

A sob built in your throat, as you stared at your beautiful little girl. Her facial features where similar to Jimin's as a child. Her chubby cheeks, and full lips.

Carefully grasping her fingers, you memorized each and every little grevise and each distinct detail on her face.

Jimin's arm wrapped around you pulling you closely to him. His hand supporting her head. His thumb brushed gently against her hair, mindfully avoiding the bow.

JIMIN POV

His heart was heavy. This was peaceful, but he could only think of every moment that they won't experience with her. They will never see her walk, talk, and she'll never have a chance to live her life.

He couldn't help, but think of everything he could've done better.

Maybe if I hadn't ignored Y/N, maybe I could've saved my daughter.

A single tear, rolled down his cheek landing gently on his daughters forehead.

"Jimin?" Y/N's voice called to him softly.

Turning to look at her, he noticed the peaceful expression on his wife's face.

"I can hear your thoughts from here, and this is not your fault. If it's anyone's fault, it's mine."

Letting out a choked sob, he pressed his lips to Y/N's temple. Her hand reached over, resting on his cheek.

"Jimin, I love you, with all of my heart," her voice whispered, as he sobbed into her shoulder.

The grief and guilt finally pouring out of his soul, as he felt love and comfort from his wife.

"Jimin, we should name her," Y/N said, gaining his attention.

"What?"

"We should give her a name," Y/N answered, her eyes focused on him.

"What. do we want to name her?" Jimin asked, steadying his breath.

"I want you to name her."

Jimin looked down at his daughter, thinking for a moment, before he looked at Y/N again.

"Areuma."

"Areuma, I love it."

Bringing his lips to his daughters forehead, he kissed her repeating her name in his head like a mantra.

"Park Areuma, you are very loved," Y/N said, tears streaming down her face.

Bringing Y/N's head to his shoulder he rested his head on top of hers as they sat admiring their daughter for the last few minutes.

A knock came at the door, revealing the nurse who had brought in their daughter.

"I'm sorry, I'm hear to take her back to prepare her body for burial," the nurse said.

Nodding his head, he watched as Y/N, handed over their baby girl to the nurse, his heart, feeling relief that his daughter had a name, and knew she was loved.

"Does she have a name, we can register on our charts?" the nurse asked.

"Park Areuma," Jimin answered.

"What a beautiful name, for such a beautiful baby girl. Would you like me to bring in your son soon?"

"Yes," Y/N answered, her voice quivering.

"Alright, I will be back shortly then."

The door closed, and Y/N immediately turned her body into his.

"Promise me, we will never forget her?" Y/N asked, her fingers gripping his shirt tightly.

"I promise."

Sorry for all the last-minute changes. The grammar from previous chapters was bugging me, so I did a lot of fixing. Sorry!
