Y/N POV

Sitting on the edge of the hospital bed, you were ready to go home, but your heart was still bothering you. Your heart had never stopped hurting after seeing Aeruma.

"Sweetheart?"

Looking up, you see Jimin holding Taeyang against his chest. It made you smile softly, but the numbing effect you had been feeling was still there.

To be honest, you felt disconnected from Taeyang, which made you feel worse. You're his mother, you're supposed to want to hold him and be with him all the time, but you keep pushing him away.

"Are you okay?" Jimin asked with a soft smile and worry-filled eyes.

"Yeah," you whispered, looking back at your feet.

"Do you wanna talk?"

"Not right now," you answered, looking up at him.

He buckled Taeyang in his car seat before walking to you and squatting in front of you.

"It's okay," he said, grabbing your hand and gently stroking it.

"I'm sorry," you whispered, tears building in your eyes.

"Nothing happened for you to be sorry over. Everything is going to be okay. Remember, one day at a time?"

"I-"

"Yeobo, you're okay. I will help, protect, love, and support you. I'm never leaving."

Allowing him to pull you into him, he holds you as you sob into his chest.

JIMIN POV

He knew Y/n had been struggling. Her postpartum depression wasn't going to be easy because it was bundled and wrapped around their shared grief for Aeruma, but he knew she was blaming herself.

Y/n could be a sensitive person and never harms anyone or anything, and now their daughter was gone, and she had already told him that she believed it was her fault, so he could only imagine the guilt she had placed upon herself.

Holding her tightly to his body, as they walked to the car out front, he held tightly to Taeyang's car seat and held her tightly with the other hand.

Walking out the hospital doors, he saw Yoongi leaning against the car, waiting for them.

"Hi Hyung," he greeted.

"You get Taeyang in; I'll help Y/n," he said, taking hold of Y/n's hand and leading her to the passenger seat.

Locking Taeyang in, he glanced at Y/n, who whimpered as she sat in her seat. Her stitches were still tender for her, and it broke his heart knowing she was in pain in more than one way.

Y/N POV

"How are you feeling?" Yoongi asked as he helped you adjust in your seat.

"Sore."

He looked at you before closing the door and walking to the driver's seat.

You watched the buildings pass by on the short drive to your home. Jimin was sitting in the back with Taeyang, who had made little noise besides the occasional whimper.

"Yoongi, will you help Y/n, and I'll get Taeyang settled?"

"Of course."

Walking with Yoongi, who had allowed you to wrap your hand into the crook of his arm. Jimin had already gone up the elevator.

"So, how are you actually doing?"

"I said I'm fine."

"You can hide it from Jimin, but you shouldn't keep it to yourself."

"Yoongi, I-"

"You suffered, and your body is going through a lot, so you telling me you're "fine" doesn't mean you're actually doing okay."

"I... I, Uhm... I'm in pain," you croaked.

"Which one is more painful?" he asked, his voice soft and gentle.

"Emotional."

"Tell me."

"All of this. It's my fault. I should've told Jimin earlier, and listened to all of you when you were telling me to take care of myself, instead I was selfish, and because of-"

"Stop! None of this is your fault, and don't think about those negative thoughts, because once you start, it's hard to stop, so stop while you still can. Otherwise, you will end up in a deep dark tunnel that will threaten every moment of your life."

"I... I feel so disconnected from Taeyang."

"You've suffered a great loss, and maybe part of you is afraid to lose him too, and if you get to attached, he'll be taken away from you too?"

Sobbing, you held tightly to Yoongi. Everything he had said was true.

"Think about it this way, Taeyang is here to comfort you and get you through this loss, but only if you allow him to."

Nodding your head, you followed him through the front door into your home.

"Y/n, what's wrong? Are you in pain?" Jimin asked as you came through the door.
