its been a few days since me and Nick hung out and we're back on good terms.
"so when are you and nick going to hang out again?" Charlie asked
the whole group was currently over at my house for a so called 'study group' but we just called it that so our parents would let us hang out on a weekday
"i dont know he says he wants to meet my cat" i said
"i bet thats the only reason he wants to come over." Tao said
i threw a pillow at him from my bed, he was sitting on the floor with Elle and me and Charlie were on my bed
"ow!" Tao laughed throwing the pillow back at me
"i dont know Ms.Berry is very cute" Elle said petting her on her lap
i rolled my eyes playfully
my mom popped into my room
"oh i didnt know the whole gang was coming over!" my mom chirped
"please dont call us a gang!" i laughed
"i dunno i kinda like it, makes us sound cool" Tao said
"I think cult fits better" Charlie said
"my goodness Charlie!" My mom laughed
"would you guys like any snacks, i can bring you up some food. Food is good for the brain when studying!" She said
"i could eat" Tao stated
"yeah me too" Elle spoke
"sure" Charlie said
"alright then i'll be right back" She said
"your mom is so adorable" Elle said
"she's a lovely gal" i replied
We were all laying on my floor with pillows everywhere laughing and giggling cracking jokes
"Why do you respond with 'your mom' everytime someone asks you a question?" Charlie said giggling
"your mom!" Tao shouted
"oh my god you literally suck!" Elle said
"is that your only comeback?" I laughed
"thats only one of many others i have!" Tao replied
my phone buzzed and i lifted it up to look at the screen.
Nick sent me a message and i instantly smiled to myself
"oh no she's grinning Nick texted her" tao said playfully rolling his eyes
"well what did he say?" Elle asked
"i'll respond later so he'll miss me!" i said
"playing hard to get are we?" Charlie asked
"like he'll ever have me" i said
"dont act like you wouldnt jump in his arms in a heartbeat" Elle said giggling
i was about to respond until my phone buzzed again
another message from nick
"he's a bit clingy isnt he" Tao said shoving his face with chips from the bowl my mom brought up
"answer him!" Charlie said
"no he can wait!" i said
"bros before hoes" Elle said sarcastically
"oh my god!" I laughed
"never say that again!" Charlie said
sadly it was time for my friends to go home as it was getting late. My cheeks were warm from how happy i was to spend time with them, im glad i've made some good friends.
