"Hi" Nick said as i sat down
"Hi" i replied with a small smile
"ugh" Charlie groaned as he sat down
"whats up Charlie" i asked
"i woke up late this morning i barely was able to get ready and make my lunch" he said
"oh here you can have mine" i said handing him my lunch in a paper brown bag
"oh no thats fine im usually not that hungry anyway" he replied
"oh okay, guess i'll give it to Tao again" i said chuckling
"you dont eat lunch?" Nick asked
"um" i turned and looked at him with my mouth agape trying to come up with an excuse
"no not really i usually have stomach aches at lunchtime" lie lie lie
"probably because you never eat lunch!" Charlie said
"your probably just hungry" Nick said
"yeah. maybe" i said
"uh would you maybe wanna eat lunch with me?" Nick asked
i looked at charlie looking for an answer he raised his eyebrows and nodded
"yeah sure" i said looking back at Nick
Charlie looked at me with a huge smile waving his hands, i mouthed "shut up" to him with a smile. Rugby King Nick Nelson has invited me to lunch, and im weirdly excited.
"i usually hang out with my friends on the rugby team but if you want we can go somewhere else, they're a bit obnoxious sometimes" Nick said chuckling to himself
"oh you dont have to ditch your friends for me" i replied
"no its alright, they can get annoying sometimes" he said
"if you say so!" i said
i sat down in my next class and my phone went off
Charlie: y/n just got invited to sit with Nick at lunch!!!!
Tao: what!! your ditching us for a rugby lad!
y/n: dont attack me ill sit with you guys tomorrow!
Elle: she's all grown up :')
y/n: oh god 😭

Charlie: you dont seem that excited y/n
y/n: i mean i am i can FINALLY be away from you guys for once
Tao: RUDE!

y/n: he isnt my boyfriend!
Charlie: not yet!
Tao: no no no no no
y/n: i cant date right now, im not ready to be in a relationship. I just wanna be his friend

I was walking in the hallway looking down at my phone about to text Nick where he was until,
"Hey!" Nick said popping up in front of me
"Hi" i said with a shy smile
"where do you wanna sit?" i asked
