Causing Jackie to chuckle slightly and said "you got me there. But yeah, i was working at the bar. my boss has been on my ass for some reason". You grumbled in response as you listened to Jackie rant about her sexist boss known

as Karl Valentin. You always hated him "if you hate him so much why don't you quit?" You asked jackie as you played with the strings on your. F/C hoodie. "Because... Bills need to be payed besides I'll quit once the summer ends". Jackie responded with a sigh as she took a drink from a half-filled. Wine glass You rolled your eyes. At jackies statement "so you'll quit in two weeks?" You asked with a smirk. "No." Jackie responded setting her glass down as she got up off the couch "im going to bed. You comin'?" Jackie asked as she looked at you. You nodded following her upstairs as she went to her room leaving you to go to yours.

You woke up to the smell of bacon pancakes and eggs. You lazily rolled over to the side to look at your clock 7:00AM you glared at the clock but nonetheless got up and walked dowstairs to see Rachel " hey". She said with a smile you smiled back and waved reaching for a piece of bacon before she lightly smacked your hand. Causing you to glare payfully. And suddenly it dawned on you. Jackie

wasn't there. "Wheres jackie"? You asked lightly as you grabbed a piece of bacon sneakily as rachel made the plates her blue eyes scanning every plate as she grabbed some silverware " she's in her office". Rachel responded tucking her blond hair straind behind her ear. As she sat the plates on the counter "Again? Damn. Does she ever stop working?" You asked with a huff as Rachel chuckled " Well yknow Jackie shes a-." Rachel said as she was cut off as a fimiler voice entered the room "A workaholic? Yeah im aware." but you chose to work. at home to do so. Jackie stretched and grabbed her plate. placing her plate along with Rachel's in the sink. as she grabbed her purse and left. " bye". Rachel said softly as she waved at you. Leaving you alone at the table....... You smiled at the two. you couldn't ask for better friends. you would be starting school in two weeks. but this time you wouldn't be alone. thanks to Jackie and Rachel.
