Jackie shook off the memory as she drove home. "Why out of all the things did i have to think about that?" Jackie thought to herself as she turned up the radio. Then something caught her eye. A family together on the side walk. A lone tear ran down her cheek. As she stared at them. She turned her attention back to the road. Going home.

~~~~~~~~~
You finished up your cover of Billie Eilish and Khalid's lovely ( video at the top) on your keyboard. You were more than ready to post it on YouTube for your job. Before you heard the door slam open. You snuck dowstairs a peaked out behind the wall on the stairs. To see Jackie sitting on the couch, tears running down her cheeks. You hated seeing her like this. You saw her like this once and that was enough. Then you saw the bottel of whiskey on the glass coffee table. you sighed and walked up to her "rough day?" You asked placing a hand on her back "yea... I quit my job." Jackie responds, taking a sip of the bottel. You were astonished at Jacqueline. The workaholic, vintage video game obsessed roomie. She quit her job? Holy shit. "Oh...well um, good for you." You said awkwardly. Yea you couldn't do this alone... you grabbed your phone and called Rachel.
~~~~~~~~

Rachel was minding her own business behind the counter. Her older sister Chelsea was stalking up shelves and making sure everything was in order. Rachel was a very shy girl. I mean sure she lives with two people, but she was never really an outgoing type of person. Yet she works in a very public antique shop, right in the center of town with her 27 year old sister.

She is only 21...  Rachel was looking at a guy who is really cute he had blue eyes and black hair. He didn't say much, but he was very polite. He was talking to her sister about looking to buy some new paint brushes and canvases. Rachel can hardly Focus. Every so often he would glance in her Direction like and like a middle schooler. She would turn away eveytime he looked in her direction. Her phone began to vibrate and she noticed it was y/n. She picked it up "hey is everything okay?" she asked "yes and no. Jackie is having a bad day." y/n responded.

Rachel pondered for a
minute. She's known Jackie for about a year-and-a-half, longer than y/n so. Naturally Rachel would know what to do. Sundenly an idea came to mind "keep Jackie off the whiskey, I have an idea." Rachel said hanging up and going to the storage room the browse through the donated items. "Thank you so much choosing America's Heritage antiques
Mr?"

Chelsea said but cut herself off as she looked at the man curiously. "please call me Helen, Helen Ottis. And I couldn't pass up this opportunity. From what I hear is that your shop has the most valuable paint brushes, and canvases. but there's only one thing missing." Chelsea chuckeld shyly and said "and what's tha-." Chelsea said but cut off as Helen slit her throat. She choked lightly as she collapsed on the pavement. "Paint." Helen whispered lightly in Chelsea's ear, as he picked her up throwing her over his shoulder as he disappeared Into the Night.
