Chapter ten ( Ben)

Jackie struggled helplessly tugging at the wires. Ben only smirked in response. as her body began to turn blue-ish. Signaling that she wasn't getting enough air. Ben looked at her eyes a saw a single tear roll down her cheek. he pulled Jackie close to his face. and touched her cheek. wiping the tear away. "Don't cry dear, it's almost over". Ben whispered as he noticed Jackie's failing attempts of struggle was slowly stopping. ben watched as her eyes closed and her body went limp. signaling she was dead.... Ben chuckled and loosend the

wires on her body. and dropped her  roughly on the hard wood floor. A couple of minutes passed. and Ben began to think of ways to hide her body. He didn't have time process the harsh impact of Jackie jumping on to him. and tackling him to the floor. "GET OFF ME YOU FUNKIN' BITCH"! Ben shouted as Jackie went for his throat. But Ben was to quick. he grabbed her head and slammed it to the floor several times. as hard as he could until he heard a crack. Been painted as he looked at Jackie's form. for a second he thought he killed her. until he saw her chest rise and fall.

Ben glared at Jackie as he watched her sleeping form. But hope struck when he saw a little pool of blood form under her head. However anyone could live through that.... He frowned. Suddenly he came up with an idea. he went to the kitchen to get a knife. when he heard the front door open...... "Jackie I'm home". You called as you walked inside,  flipped on the lights, and locked the door.

You let out a wistful sigh. as you thought of your night with Helen. you turned around to head to Jackie's office to tell her everything that happened. when you saw it. her limp bloody form on the floor. You couldn't get a sound out as you began to panic. but that Panic faded as you saw her her chest rise and fall. signaling she was alive.you calmed yourself down and began sprinting towards her dialing 911.....

"She's gonna be fine.... But if her skull was cracked anymore she would've died....i also noticed her airways were almost shatterd aswell are you sure you told us everything?" The doctor asked you you  took everything in "like I said, I was hanging out with a friend for a couple of hours. when I came home and there she was. by the foot of the stairs with a pool of blood under her head. I don't know how it happened. I don't know how long she was laying there. before I showed up. but if you want to hear something more. I suggest you read a crime novel". ( u know who you are). You said with annoyance as the Doctor Pierce scoffed and walked away. you knew he was only

doing his job. but honestly it started to feel like you were being interrogated. rather than being there for a friend. a couple of hours past. you anxiously sat in one of the chairs. in the hospital hallway. your instincts told you to call Helen. but you didn't want to bug him so you just sat there and stared at the clock. before a young nurse came out of Jackie's Hospital room. "you can see her now". the nurse said calmly as she walked away. you nodded in response as you went to enter the room. Jackie looked at you with a small weak smile. "hey there." Jackie said as you sat down at the end of the bed. "you want to tell me what the hell's going on." you said in a joking tone. Jackie had no idea what you were talking about. if anything Jackie was confused and how she even got here. before she looked past you and saw Ben.

waving at her with a Sly grin. everything came flooding back in a flash. she remembered everything her computer, game, nearly being strangled to death by her own TV wires, and lastly the pain before she passed out on her wooden floor. "how the hell am I supposed to tell them." Jackie thought before an idea came. "I could ask you the same question." Jackie said with a small chuckle. "wait you don't remember." you asked eyeing her observantly before Jackie could respond the door opened. 

"hello I am Dr pierce. the nurse just informed me that you're awake." he said as he shut the door behind him. "now do you remember what happened?" Dr Pierce asked Jackie as he walked close to the hospital bed. "I don't remember.... everything's kind of a blur." Jackie responded as Doctor Pierce continue to observe Jackie as if he was searching for a lie of some sort. Jackie hoped he wouldn't catch on. and he didn't. But he did ask Jackie to spend the night in the hospital. but Jackie refused. saying that she was fine and that it'd be in her best interest if she went home. the doctor was hesitant but agreed. and prescribed her some painkillers. before you and Jackie went home......
