ATRID'S POV

I walk through town with Stormfly and Toothless both following behind me. They both have some-what confused expressions on their faces. I honestly don't know what's wrong with them. I decide to look for Hiccup so I can figure out why his dragon is with me and not him.

"Hey lad." Gobber greets me with a wave of his metal hook. Lad? I run over to him a restless expression on my face.

"Gobber!" I call. "What happened? How did I lose my foot?"

I woke up this morning with a metal contraption attached to where the rest of my shin should be.

"Does the dragon ring a bell?" He asks. I nod thinking back to before I blacked out.

"Well. I can't really tell you how you lost it. We found you like that." he tells me.

I sigh and nod again. Well, hey. Hiccup and I both match now.

"Guys. Go play." I say shewing the dragons away.

I don't mind them following me, but it feels more like they are inspecting me and it's making me uncomfortable.

I still can't believe I lost my foot. I've gotten to wear I can hide my hobble some-what since I forced myself to run laps around the village so I don't appear weak. If Hiccup, who used to be the weakest one a few years ago can do it, then so can I. I wipe away the small tears that have begun forming in my eyes. "Hoffersons don't cry." I scold. Though I can't seem to get over how it's going to be a little trickier when we battle Dagor with one foot.

When I enter the academy everyone is staring at the entrance with bewildered expressions.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" Fishlegs asks.

"I lost my foot! How do you think I'm feeling?" I snap.

I'm sorry. I hate it when people ask me stuff like that. it sounds weak, like I can't handle a little pain or trouble. Usually I just shrug it off, but this is different. I cracked.

The twins laugh at the surprised loom on Fishlegs' face. I shove them out of my way so I can get to the cart full of weapons. All I really feel like doing is working on my accuracy, hoping it will help me take my mind off of my foot and get rid of done of the anger.

I grab several axes and head over to the barrels with targets painted on them. I stand in position in front of my intended target, throwing the axe full force with a loud grunt. The axe finds its mark, landing in the center of the bullseye.

The others stand wide eyed. I smirk at them picking up another axe. I throw that one, the blade sticking in the soft wood of the next barrel. I throw another one over my shoulder without looking. I don't turn around until I hear the metal pierce the target.

Three perfect shots in a row. I decide to do a combination for my last axe. I back up to the center of the arena. Smiling at my friends, I take a running start, do a back-hand-spring, tuck-and-roll, and land on my feet, throwing the axe as I spin. Make that four perfect shots.

"Ask me that question again Fishlegs and next time it will be you." I warn. I hear him gulp in fear.

"Are we actually going to learn anything today? Snotlout asks rolling his eyes trying to hide that he's impressed. Normally he's all over me by now. It's nice for a change.

"Why are you asking me? I'm not the teacher. Do I look like the chief's son?" I ask.

"Uhhhh...." he stutters.

"You know what, fine. I'll go find the dork since you half-trolls are too lazy." I jog out of the arena in search of Hiccup.

"Hiccup!" I call. "Hiccup!"

I continue as I make my way through town. I receive a lot of strange looks, which I respond with, "What I can't look for my boyfriend?" Which only results in even stranger looks.

I see Stoick wave at me a little ways away. I don't really want to talk to him right now though. I'm kind of in a bad mood at the moment. I smash into someone suddenly, knocking them to the ground.

"What was that for?" A girls voice says.

It almost sounds like... mine. The girl gets to her feet, standing in front of me, but the person I see is... me.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!" We both scream.

"Astrid?" I ask, well the person that looks like me does. I nod in answer.

"It's me." she says. I raise an eyebrow confused. "It's Hiccup." she adds hugging me. I hug her back a little unsure.

"Wait. Let me get this strait." I say putting my hand to my forehead.

"If you're inside of me then that means..." My eyes widen. "I'm inside of you." I take a step back in shock.

"Oh no. Oh no no no no no no no.This can't be happening." I wail.

"Hey, on the bright side it's my body. Not Tuff's or Snotlout's." she encouraged.

"That would explain a few things this morning." I add after a moment of trying to get the thought of being trapped in Snotlout out of my head. I reach out and punch her arm, well technically my arm.

"Ow! What was that for? At least in my body I have on long sleeves, but your arms are bare." she ways rubbing the spot. "You realize you're bruising up your own body right?" She retorts.

"Yeah, but you feel the pain." I smirk. She smiles shaking her head.

"Come on Astrid, let's go explain this to my dad so we can fix it." she says grabbing my hand.

"Wai- wai- wait." I cut in, digging the metal foot in the ground. She stops confused.

"What?"

"How often do you get stuck in another person's body?"

"Never." she says.

"Aren't you even a tad bit curious what it would be like to be me for a little bit?" I urge. She sighs rubbing her temples.

"Fine."

"Yes!" I cheer. "Now, 'Astrid' let's head back to the arena. I've got students waiting.

"Oh gods." Hiccup moans.
