The premise of the story actually came from the author's dream. She saw the story from both Astrid's and the third person's pov.
: ̗̀➛ Originally (pertaining to the author's dream), the reason why the main characters ran away was actually that Athena got into trouble with the salon owner while she was on a date with Astrid. It was daytime. The salon owner threatened to file a complaint against her and to escape the authorities, they rushed away.
The author revised this scene and made the owner a coffee shop owner instead. In the midst of writing the chapter, she decided to cut the scene because it was no longer relevant to the storyline.
: ̗̀➛ Originally, the main characters didn't run away with a van. They made their way to the abandoned hotel in the woods by rolling in the air like Sonic the Hedgehog. Weird, isn't it?
: ̗̀➛ The living room scene in chapter 2 actually happened on the stairs in the dream. However, Demeter wasn't throwing a tantrum before Selene came to tell her that Astrid has a girlfriend.
: ̗̀➛ The author cannot blame Astrid for being terrified of her own mother because Demeter is really frightening when furious. Experienced it first-hand.
: ̗̀➛ Astrid's younger brothers are actually younger in the dream than they are in the revised plot.
Dream: Cadmus and the twins are minors.Revised plot: Cadmus is 21 years old while the twins are 19 years old.
: ̗̀➛ Athena's face is blurry but she seems hot. Kidding aside, Athena isn't actually a vlogger but a daughter of a multi-billionaire businessman.
: ̗̀➛ The Gavis are wealthy, although not as wealthy as depicted in the story.
: ̗̀➛ Theodore is actually Astrid's confidant.
: ̗̀➛ Because Astrid is too stupid to use social media while resting in the hotel, her family was able to track her down. She even submitted a spoiler message on a discord server, thinking it would go unnoticed.
: ̗̀➛ Due to anxiousness, Astrid jumped through the wooden window shutter of their hotel room as her family was searching for her. No, she didn't receive any injuries. She's great at parkour.
: ̗̀➛ Astrid and Athena did not argue before leaving the hotel. They escaped promptly, despite being separated for a brief interval.
: ̗̀➛ The scenario in which Astrid heard her name because a driver stated it aloud while reading the news happened after the events on the yacht. They weren't heading to a marina hotel at the moment, but rather to a bar/arcade.
: ̗̀➛ Astrid is too wary about people recognizing her, so she hid behind Athena and covered her face with make-up.
: ̗̀➛ Ares and Damon didn't know each other. Damon is just some random boy that appeared out of nowhere in the yacht scene. Yeah, he still died in the author's dream.
: ̗̀➛ Astrid didn't drug Athena. In the original version, Astrid used the same knife that Athena used to murder Damon. Thinking that her lover is already dead, Astrid stabbed herself in the stomach. Athena saved her from death and by the time Astrid woke up, she said that she knows Astrid can't kill her because she just can't (she meant Astrid loves her so much that she couldn't kill her even after all that happened to them in the yacht).
: ̗̀➛ Astrid is wearing the same said outfit in the dream (white long-sleeved polo shirt, a black vest, and black trousers). She looked fine even if she was covered in blood.
: ̗̀➛ In the dream, the events are actually a live-action adaptation of a famous sapphic novelette about two girls running away. Astrid is originally a poet and Athena is her rich and hot girlfriend (this came from one of the comments about the story). Yup, the events are fictional but not the main characters.
